So, the question is rather straight foward. Who out of Alexandros Mograine and Uther the Lightbringer would you say is stronger with the Light? Both are incredibly powerful, and both have a history with great feats of strengths to prove themselves.
Also, who do you like more out of the two? And which would you say has the richest lore?

Mograine, I think. Uther voted to strip Tirion of his paladinship.

Mograine would probably be more deep into the Light, but Uther was more badass, I think.

Myself, I don't really see either of them as deeper; they both servered a Purpose, Uther was meant to train Arthas(and we all know what a good job he did), Mograine was meant to raise his son to be the honourable fellow who would kill himself to free his father's spirit and cleanse the Ashbringer.

Hmm, well, I just wonder mainly.
I don't completely know which, Alexandros did lead the first crusade against the scourge and was the Ashbringer, but he did so knowing some new beliefs in the Light since it had been a little while since the death of Uther as I know it.
Uther was one of the first paladins as I recall, so he was a "original" and did what he thought was best, thinking that his actions were what was best for the Light.
So both are kinda at a standstill almost to me.

Nah you ask me, the true paragon of Light was Turyalon, he was the greatest paladin after Lothar fell to Doomhammer...in a duel not ambushed by orcs!

Uther died fighting Arthas, giving his life in a hope that perhaps he could have defeated Arthas, though he knew that it would not be possible. So, he sacrificed himself in that sense.

Of course..... Arthas did tell Uther he was just after the Urn with the ashes of his father and if he would have given it over, he would have let him and the other Silver hand paladin's live. I mean we all know he was lying but still, he was offered an out.

No one killed him because he was the prince of Lordaeron and even though his actions were horrible, they weren't meant out of evil at the time.
Uther was alone with Arthas found him, so no one could have lept out and saved him.

Yes, he commanded other paladins, but like I said, he was alone when he confronted Arthas.

I'm not sure if you were joking there, but lore-wise, the 'bubble' used alot of power if ever even used, and no help was nearby, Arthas had killed everyone that could have possibly helped him earlier.

Arthas was very powerful at the time and had a small army of undead attacking as well. Uther couldn't hold all that off even though he was well trained. Even the greatest can fall.

Once again, please list or point out why you think Mograine is greater. Just saying it really isn't a valid arugement.

Well Uther wasn't alone, there was about 8 other Knights of the Silver Hand with them, of course they were up against Death Knight Arthas and his army of the Scourge, so yeah they were going to be overwhelmed no matter what. Again, Uther is a paladin of Light, he wouldn't have just let Arthas take the Urn, after all he was still the protector of Lordaeron even if the prince had come for the ashes.

Depends does Mograine have Ashbringer? Because if so, then he wins, but because of the sword, not himself.
Uther wins in Lore and Power.

No, Mograine lost the Ashbringer during the orginal assault by the Argent Dawn on Naxxramas, with Darion Mograine taking the weapon from his father. Of course his father's spirit then kills Renault when it's taken to him, then later, Darion sacrifices himself to cleanse the blade so that Fordring can take it up for use against the Lich King during the Battle For Light's Hope Chapel and all the Northrend fun and goodness.
And yes, Uther has no grand lore items like the Ashbringer, but he was a great paladin, he led the Silver Hand after Turylon and the Alliance Expedition vanished into Draenor/Outland. He was a stable warrior who helped Arthas beat back the Scourge, up until the Culling of Stratholme. His death was sadden as he was only trying to bury the ashes of the Last King of Lordaeron and Death Knight Arthas wouldn't let that happen.

I forget didn't the Urn have magical properties right?
Nothing that could be used in battle, I think.

Mhmm but thye needed it to Rez Kel with or carry him which did they do? i kno wthey also used The Sunwell to rez him
The Sunwell was used to resurrect Kel'Thuzad, the Urn just kept his remains intact through the travel from Lordareon to Quel'Thalas.

The Urn was meant to keep Kel'Thuzad's remains from liquifying further into stew. It was just a hold over item till they could get him to the Sunwell to cast the resurrection magic to bring him back as a Lich.
Bah, Sagramor beat me to it.
