I think our old friend got a new IP address.I'm fairly sure he's the same person as "Soldrethar" from the Worgen Info Blog. (Well, he's one of them, anyway; there are at least two people using that name there.) Same typing style, and same habit of alternately flaming and trying to ingratiate himself. Apart from that, I don't know.

Were you running around on the Cataclysm forums earlier this month/late last month? :S We had a pretty bad one around for a while and he reminds me of that one (all his stuff was deleted so I can't link any of it.). Especially the Worgen obsession and the weird arguments.

But who knows, it could be an entirely new one.

For the record: I am excited about tauren paladins, troll druids, flying in Azeroth, and zone revamps. I am more or less indifferent to goblins. I am not impressed with anything about worgen except for their rogue stealth animations. (Although I would not rule out my opinion on either race changing.) And I both think it's bogus that draenei get no new class, and see it as a symptom of the way they've been getting shuffled under the rug for a while now.

But who knows, it could be an entirely new one.No idea. There was a self-proclaimed "wolf furry" who was gushing about worgen, but I never so much as had words with him (at least on that character).

There was also a death knight—who may or may not be an alt of the "wolf furry"—who's randomly snipped at me a couple of times and seems to get similarly insulted about anyone not liking worgen. (He's claimed that he just does it to try to annoy me...but he was acting far too genuinely offended for that to be particularly believable.)

What could you give the Draenei though?

They have the DK, Warrior, Mage, Hunter, Shaman, Paladin, and Priest. (7)

Humans have the Hunter, Rogue, Dk, Priest, Paladin, Warlock, Mage, and Warrior. (8)

Dwarves have the Hunter, Rogue, DK, Priest, Paladin, Mage, Warrior, and Shaman. (8)

Night Elves have the Hunter, Rogue, Mage, DK, Druid, Priest, and Warrior. (7)

Gnomes have the DK, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior. (6)

Worgen have the DK, Druid, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior. (8)

The only options for Draenei are Warlock (of which adam laughs at), Rogue, or Druid. Though if anything the Gnomes need one more to be equal with horde numbers (8,8,8,7,7,7). (Not to argue with the point that they're the only ones not getting a new class, of course.)

ok heres an example why Tauren and draenei cant be rouges:

iamagnome is herbalizing peacebloom
a Tauren rogue is trying to sneak behind him through stealth
Hoof feet go clip clop clip clop
gnome runs away

Then how do the Devilsaur's sneak up on us? Sorry Gnoktish, but that's the standard response to Tauren/Draenei rogues lol.

The only options for Draenei are Warlock (of which adam laughs at), Rogue, or Druid.Warlock is the only one I'd argue is right out. Rogue is thematically iffy, but could be justified.

However, I think they should have been considered for druid before a brand-new race: Isn't part of the backstory for worgen that they eventually discover the druidic roots of the summoned worgen? IMO, worgen druids should have been saved for a later expansion pack. (Actually, putting new races and new classes for existing races all in one expansion seems like a bit of dubious judgment.)

Plus, draenei have no class that can stealth. Humans, blood elves, and trolls—all of whom have just as many classes—have no such function gaps, but are all still getting new options. (And the first two both outnumber draenei.)

Though if anything the Gnomes need one more to be equal with horde numbers (8,8,8,7,7,7). (Not to argue with the point that they're the only ones not getting a new class, of course.)Here's the thing: I don't think that gnomes are any more entitled to multiple new options than draenei are to a new option.

I think they're handling the discovery through phasing, right? They could work in rogues with a little back story with SI:7 (Or with Akama, which would be a lot more interesting) and maybe Druid with a story into their involvement with the Night Elves.

Actually...Akama would be a good way to introduce Rogues in. >.> <.< Quick, someone go pitch the idea to Blizzard.

But as for the warlock thing; the only way to do it would be to have 'uncorrupted' Eredar show up to show them the Fel doesn't affect them like they think it does... which, is not a retcon we need for Draenei lore heh.

Yeah, I think that one was burned in the other thread adam. :P

I do like the Akama idea though, it gives him something else to do than sit in that dank cell in Outland, and it could bring the broken back into the Draenei as rogue trainers.

Actualy reading people post about imposible class-race combo people do realise that by giving druids to the humans of gilneas(worgen) they gave the opening for a forsaken druid posible combo ?

worgen are humans cursed from gilneas
the figth in northrend wont be over(as the figth in outlands also continues)
the lich king can turn humans from gilneas in to the scourge
then the forseken can "free" them and presto forseken druids

that way both factions would have equal number of druids :P

lol funny stuff but back to topic i think rogue is the best option for draenei even tho i would love to be a big blue warlock.

The stealth for the current cat forms look pretty much the same (as little as I use them on my druid due to laziness). You would really need a rogue to show off the Draenei stealth animation.

Several people were, at one point.

Bleh, we need to abduct some game designers to get it implemented.

Heh, you now technically, I guess I was wrong, there is a point in Azuremyst, during the quest for the Stillpine, the ancestors do transform your toon, into a seal and a panther..... guess it wouldn't be that huge of a leap to go onto a druid....hm.

Wow, that was ages ago. :S But it always involved a totem. Shaman aren't strangers to shapeshifting.
