Avala & J'ak

"Sweet," J'ak said absently, still thinking about the white light. He peered into the distance, wondering if Razor Hill was stocked up with the new shipments yet.
Avala laughed. "He liikes you he liiikes you," she repeated, her silver eyes shining. She tilted her head. "I can tell you know. He's nice. Even if he is a dirty fighter."

"I owe you nothing," Malvern retorted, "and I said that because the only person looking out for me is myself, no one else had for six years now, and I doubt that'll change. I'm not going to give my life for two people I don't know at all," he said.
"Those of you who wish to live, follow me without any more bickering. If you want to stay and get lost in these mines, go ahead," he said, marching off down a tunnel.

"Um... I... I don't think we should go there," J'ak said. "I think something is wrong. If we do we should go in, get supplies and leave... don't buy anything that came from the new crates.."
Avala looked at him. "How do you know?"
J'ak shrugged and looked at her with fearful eyes. "I can just sense it."

"Oh what do yo-" Malvern heard the fear in his voice, pausing before hearing it as well.
"Get the draenei to me, we can't have her hooves making all that noise," Malvern whispered.

Malvern saw the weapon, his eyes widening.
"Where did you get that!" Malvern said, "you're insane! You're going to get us all killed!" he exclaimed.

The group walked cautiously to the town. The first thing J'ak noticed was the silence. No drums were being played, no one was singing songs... there wasn't even the sound of people selling wares. Everyone was sitting near still, looking sick, watching the children with sunken in, black eyes.
Avala walked over and gripped her brothers hand tightly, her sword gripped tightly in her other shaking hand. "What's happening?" she asked, feeling uneasy.
J'ak shook his head. "Let's just hurry.."

"We can't fight them! We're just a bunch of kids! Not soldiers!" Malvern said, "run already!" Malvern said, motioning for the others to follow, knowing the mine would collaspe in if that bomb went off.

"Yeah.." Avala muttered, feeling rather afraid for the first time in her life. J'ak pulled Tayni close to him, his staff on his back. This earned a glare from Wrex, but he didn't care, he wanted them to be safe.
J'ak made eye contact with an orc who appeared to have withered away to nothing. His eyes were hollow and lifeless, and his's jaw hung open awkwardly. J'ak's eyes widened. He was dead. He looked around, shaking slightly. "Guys... we gotta go.." he said quietly.
