I would say that is really overkill for Intellect.
Once your regen is good, which it should be in that gear standard, you should be mainly focusing on increasing Spell Power, as yours seems a little low for T9+ content. ;)

Paladins have an Int --> Spellpower conversion talent.
You do not.
That is pretty much it. You should be working on increasing your naturally low Spell Power.

I agree with everyone. You have more int than you need for your current content and your spell power sacks nuts. bigtime. Like seriously. to a point where I think my jaw actually dropped when I saw how low it was. For the gear you have, your SP should be pushing the high end of 2k almost 3k. You're basically like a tank who stacks Stamina and ignores mitigation.

Can we trade gear, so I can actually use it the way it's meant to be used?

I'm a disc priest with 2.5k spellpower and 31k mana and I do fine. (unbuffed ofcourse)
I switch around trinkets so I get 2.4k spellpower and 32k mana for some fights.

Massive int pools are not automatically a sign of badness (although they often are). Some of the most progressed priests in WoW stack int. And I believe they would be proud of gemming badly (in your words).

You are not in the same situation as the OP. The OP has tons of mana an a sad amount of Spell Power. You have excellent mana and fine Spell Power. You are apples and oranges dude. You are the result of more properly gearing your priest whereas the OP has improperly geared neglecting a primary stat.
