Oddly enough, if anyone is familiar with the four horsemen in Naxxaramis, the same Mograine that drops the corrupted ashbringer stands here. This specific fellow is the father of the Mograine many have seen in SM Cathedral~~, also fathering the Mograine found in Hellfire Peninsula.~~
The material they discuss in their conversation is the same material that forged the legendary Ashbringer, which he used to fight the scourge before he was murdered by his son, the one in Cathedral.
this is a very interesting thing to watch, because the discussion at the table is the forming of the Scarlet Crusade, which began as a group who fought against the Scourge, but soon became basically crazy, convinced anyone not of the Crusade is "tainted" by the scourge.

Well, technically, the conversation is not forming the Crusade. The Crusade was created after the destruction of the Silver Hand. The conversation discusses the crystal used to forge Ashbringer and leads to it's creation. Although, I completely agree with the rest of your post.

this was the guy that originally founded the scarlet crusade, later when he was killed it was the mograine in SM that is the leader

Have any of you noticed that he isn´t helping with cleansing the crystal? I have actually never heard of Highlord Morgaine using holy-spells before he got the blade. I´m not sure it´s completely right to call him a paladin. But then again, human/draenei/blood elves do have their ways of getting holy powers. Wielding the Ashbringer might just be one of them. I don´t think it´s wrong to call him a paladin, but I don´t think it´s wrong to say he´s a warrior either.

Pssht mograin is a paladin. Stop trying to say that the ultimate scourge destroyer on the face of Azeroth is a warrior, it's not going to pan out.

Paladins = ultimate scourge destroyer, we have quests that say "Embrace the light and thwart the evil, use your powers for the light and abolish all those against the powers of good" and other weird !@#$ like that, as well as have attacks directed solely at demons and undead, unlike any warrior.

Besides the powers that mograin uses were like what, divine shield heal himself and retribution arua, it's a little tough to say that a warrior would have those abilities.

The mograin in nax is a deathknight. Sure he's got no mana but niethier does any other deathknight, deathknights use runes anyways so your whole "Mograin being a warrior theory" is crap from the start.

You just want one of the best human melee soldiers in the game to be a warrior is all, but that is not how it pans out. Besides Illidian is like a demon warrior and WAS the highest boss in the game so that like shows enough there IMO.

Anyways I know where your coming from but really, Herod is the warrior, Arcanist Doan is the mage, the Bloodmage is probs a warlock, High inquisitor is the priest and Mograin is the paladin. Sorry to burst your bubble :P
