Post title: "Warglaive Loot Priority in TBC!"Post content: "Either a rogue or a warrior. Idk."
Hunter weapons.
FIRST. gg. lol. 3rd!
Bill Gates already said it is Warrior prio. I'm guessing this was only made because you are a rogue main and wish to defy Bill Gates rules.
The only right answer is warrior, as you won't ideally run a rogue. But it's a video game so give to whoever.I am an officer in my guild and play warrior in one group, but i'm giving glaives to a rogue in that group first. The other group we're giving to a warrior first.
""Most guilds consider many factors other than "which player's DPS will increase the most?" when deciding who should receive an item - or have point systems that remove the decision process entirely."" There needs to be a rogue hotline. A lot of these poor guys are going to need help. If you don't know already that you're getting glaives, you're probably not getting them.
Loot prio on warglaives explained:1- Guild master: Because go make your own guild if you're not happy2- Raid Leader (if not already number1): Because go raid lead your own raid if you're not happy3- 1 or 2's GF/BF: Because go find another group if you're not happy4- 1 or 2's IRL friends: You know what goes here5- Members of the raid, in order of how much the loot master likes them. And thats the way it will always be :)
rogues don't need glaives to keep up Imp ESA
The simple FACTS of the matter are these:(1) They are BIS for both rogues and warriors. No question.(2) They are only BIS for warriors *because* they are legendary pieces that have the highest numbers. If it were possible, warriors would actually want two of the mainhands. The offhand is only good for them because of the proc of the set and its sheer 109 dps white hits.(3) They are BIS for rogues because of... well, the same reason. Huge/highest numbers on the weapons themselves. Proc is nuts for them too. But... *unlike* in a warrior's case, a rogue benefits far more. Not only do they have Combat Potency (more free energy from offhand swings ala faster offhand is always better), but they also have poison procs from their offhand... you know, the only weapon-hand that they even wear said poisons on (because of Windfury on the mainhand)? So not only do you have the exact same reason for rogues as warriors... but you have proc-based mechanics giving them more free energy and damage as a result of the offhand's crazy speed... that only gets even better when the 2-set procs! To summarize... it's no question whatsoever that it's BIS for both classes. But built in class procs/abilities make it BETTER for a rogue. If you're not prio'ing your rogues for Warglaives, you're screwing up. (And this argument doesn't even *touch* on PvP, where rogues will keep using them and most warriors will switch to a two-hander.)
There's not even a mention about how a warrior will not use this in PVP, so its only used 50% of the time.
i didn't read this. Just tell me who gets it second after all the hunters have them.
This post is missing out on a very key element. The prot warrior ability 'Devastate' acts as two attacks, one doing the damage, the other applying the debuff. Because of this chance on hit procs have a substantially higher chance of triggering, making them the best choice for maximizing UPTIME from the warglaive two set bonus. I am disappointed this author missed out on this key detail.

can't believe the !@#$in rogue god isn't shilling harder for rogue prio. literal class traitor, smh
I'm really tired right now and was just staring at the warglaives stats.what's the point of attack power on weapons? why not just increase the weapons damage? Like str and agi do things outside of just damage so they make sense, but attack power just increases weapon damage (and by extension ability damage)
I saw a tweet of bill gates saying that furys have prio.
Ready-made legendary weapons were a mistake. Everyone comes to expect baseline performance around having such things.
Why does it say rogue as well on the weapons? It is a bug surely since Glaives are warrior only weapons.
My guild cleared this raid every week for over a year in the original TBC and we never completed a set
