If I'm not mistaken, this change has been in beta for at least 30 days, or even longer.
Good addition. The more organized information readily available for new players the better.
This is good. Blizzard should keep adding more guides and descriptions for the game content in-game.
Affixes xdIf they are seriously just gonna recycle the same overused one from TWW, then it will not see much use. We used to have the sameish affixes from Legion to SL, but we had a lot more. Actually even with this is mind, SL added so much more affix changes and new affixes than midnight that even 9.0.2 puts shame on 12.0.2.
This should have been a feature since the beginning imo
Good, now add an option to specify key level on the aventure guide and check the damage stuff do
I hope this doesn't mean that M+ dungeons are here to stay. :*
Damn, only took them 10 years. Not bad!
It'd be nice if they'd breath life into M+ and change up the mechanics of the dungeon every three levels (similar to how normal, heroic, and mythic have differences), up to the point where dropped item levels stop increasing, rather than relying solely on stat bloat and one annoying bonus mechanic that could potentially suck the fun out of a run, but a helpful guide is at least a nice little consolation prize in the grand scheme of things. It's just not enough though.
Good, Blizzard rely too much on players / guild officer’s disseminating info. Those that don’t find out struggle, and this is one of the causes for toxicity as people expect a certain level of knowledge, even though the game doesn’t provide it.
Sure it's useful information. But do we really need so much hand holding in WoW? We managed to figure it all out ourselves before.
The issue is that nobody who's actually new would just look through these things out of boredom. It's a good thing to add more guides and similar ingame. It's a meaningless thing when external references, such as wowhead are still the frontrunner for teaching people how things work. The customer service ai's first response to any given ticket is "did you check wowhead or other third party websites first?" Guides need to be interactive. They need to be rewarding. And most importantly, they need to be better than third party versions of the exact same thing. This won't get new players to give WoW a real shot. It's a step in the right direction, but unless it's being followed by a bunch more steps in said direction, it's gonna be meaningless.
good. a player shouldn't have to search online for info on how systems works in order to master it.
Good addition, one of those features that will be able to continue past Midnight. I do find it a little odd that we're keeping the same affixes, but I guess not since Xal is still someone we're dealing with. Still nice to see this kind of info in the journal.
