I think the top half looks nice, but the stand/pedestal looks really bland and unfitting for the effigies.
again i ask....who actually wants this stuff? Are there that many RPers? The housing is cute, but the amount of effort going into it has got to be a massive resource drain. Instead maybe they could be focusing on bringing racial customization up to snuff, adding transmog dyes, more/customizable druid forms, mounts that actually use new skeletons instead of just recycling the same 5 over and over again, vehicle combat, etc etc etc.....But instead the focus is on.....houses. a place that you...won't actually do anything at?

Damn, the pedestals kinda ruin it honestly. Would be cooler if they were just torsos emerging from portals or something.
Whats about the item racks to display transmog/weapons/gear whatever. Havent they said we would be able to show others and even "wear" them as wardrobe like a fast mog feature

Yep, those bases definitely need to be sunk into something else. But that's the fun with housing having such a robust editor where you can place an object any way you like and sunk in or floating. I can't wait to see how creative people get in mashing things together.
