Burning Crusade crossrealm grouping

Hello.There was a bug in Burning Crusade Classic that made it possible to invite player-characters from other realms. The bug was fixed it several hours ago.Have fun out there!
Update: I’m mistaken about the hotfix having been applied earlier. The bug is still active and we’ll hotfix it soon.
Cross-realm is not intended.

Weren't they making a big deal about how difficult the process was back when it was originally implemented?

Does this mean TBC, version wise, is a lot closer to the live game than Classic at this point? E.g.
