Anybody have a pic for this?
I'm thinking it's going to look like another re-colored dragon stalker helm but you never know.

Comentario de 51325

Never know, I'm just anxious to get mine, this far outclasses the Tier 3 Dungeon Set Helm for hunters, as an epic should. With the right orange gem this would be quite the helmet, seems worth it for the time invested and I have plenty of spirit shards for another meta Gem.

And yet another excample how survival hunters are left aside when it comes to epic mail items. I would have liked that even 1 of the new epic helmets would have stats that are more favoured on survival talents but I'm again only seeing how the leather gear is more suitable for me. Only good thing is that I can actually get the leather version with my badges unlike engineers.

It looks like giantstalker helm, not red t2, or anything, just plain old giantstalker look. (might be sorta faded, didn't look that close)

Comentario de Reebz

For an epic helmet, that costs 50 badges, this really is poor itemization. Stalker's Helmet of Second Sight is very comparable and is easily obtained through a basic quest line.

It's important to not just look at the stats, but its socketed potential with gems.

Assume Warp has 16ap + 20ap meta.
Assume Second Sight has 4 crit/6sta x3.

Now compare the two:

Warpstalker vs Second Sight
STA - 36 vs 30
CRIT - 0.65% vs 1.41%
AP - 108 vs 99
MP5 - 2mp5 vs 4mp5
INT - 32 vs 8

Basically, you're trading crit for intel.
Worth 50 badges and endless hours of farming?

Not in my opinion.

Comentario de 71574

this helm isnt worth the 50 badges of justice.

the int and stam contradict eachother, because you dont need that much stam for raiding, and you dont need that much int for pvping.

and for raiding when compared to beastlord you lose 3 attack power and for pvping compared to glad season one you lose stam.

this helm needs to be rebalanced.

wat about compared to the warhelm https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28801#M0z or the facegaurd https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28671#00Rz?

warhelm vs this

43 Stam vs 36
31 Int vs 32
0 Agi vs 24
86 AP vs 48 (72 if u count the Agi)

Faceguard vs This

36 Agi vs 24
34 Stam vs 36
34 Intel vs 32
62 AP vs 48 (or 72)

I guess it depends on the gems u use in this helm. but if u put in a 24 AP + run speed meta with a 16 AP or which ever you need to decide on what u want as a hunter.

more AGI and crit?

more intell and AP?

Mana / 5?

Maybe this helm is better for the hunters that don't raid but do 5 man heroix?

Comentario de Equis

There is no reason to get this unless you have 50 badges burning a hole in your pocket. There are 3 essential hunter pieces to get that each cost 25 and 1 that costs 40.

So maybe after running the 35 or so heroics to get those 115 badges if you run 15 more and want a slight upgrade from second sight then yes go for it.

Comentario de Avalonia

Gladiator S1 seems better and is much easier to get at this point.

Comentario de Allakhazam

is this the new tier 6 hunter helm?

Comentario de Allakhazam

Good stat values on that.

Looks like a yellowed recolouring of the Giantstalker helm.

Good Marksmanship helm.

Comentario de Thottbot

this is a nice helm for hunters but the cost is 50 badges which is worth it if u run alot of heroics like mechanar which is basically 5 easy badges a day.

Comentario de Thottbot

picture?

Comentario de Thottbot

Looks like hunter tier 1 helm.

Comentario de Thottbot

Maybe if they removed some Stamina and put some more points in Agility, Attackpower or added Hitrating this would be worth it in a pve perspective.

Comentario de Thottbot

The stats are nice. If you want more attack power, put attack power gems in it....

Comentario de Thottbot

I'm a survival hunter (and i'm 70 and i raid) i'd love this helm 'cause i'm huge in PvE so the stamina would help since my pet can't hold ANY AGGRO and the int would be nice for PvP but if u don't like that it doesn't have enough agi PUT A GEM IN IT!

Comentario de Thottbot

Too much stam.
Switch the agi and stam, and i'll buy it even with 100 badges.
Right now, it's a sidegrade dps-wise to Stalker's Helmet of Second Sight

Comentario de Thottbot

Yes, you are right, although unfortunately you can't actually get this piece just by pvp-ing - you need to raid (Heroics, at that).

Which is where Blizz does us over again. Why am I not even slightly surprised?

Comentario de Thottbot

better than Beast Lord Helm (ofc):
530 Armor
+25 Agility
+21 Stamina
+22 Intellect
O Red Socket
O Meta Socket
Socket Bonus: 2 mana per 5 sec.
Equip: Increases attack power by 50.

but worse than t4 head (Demon Stalker Greathelm) (ofc ^^):
687 Armor
+35 Agility
+28 Stamina
+27 Intellect
O Yellow Socket
O Meta Socket
Socket Bonus: +4 Agility
Equip: Increases attack power by 66.

u can go for beast lord helm (drops from mechanar's last boss) to use it at heroics for badges and get warpstalker helm. then use this at karazhan and try to get t4 from prince.

Comentario de Thottbot

This helm just makes me so freakin' sad. Almost any blue level 70 mail helm is a better pic then this, and it costs 50 badges! I swallowed my pride and got the leather 50 badge helm, which is 4 AP worse then tier 4, so I don't regret it.

Comentario de Thottbot

I plan on getting this and putting these 2 gems in it:

Bold Ornate Ruby (+20 AP)
Swift Windfire Diamond (+20 AP and minor speed)

Comentario de Thottbot

Good god, so many clueless hunters. The Beast Lord helm is better than Stalker's Helm of Second Sight. And this helm is better than the Beast Lord Helm.

If you disagree, you need to do some research.

Comentario de Thottbot

it's meant for hunters but who cares it isn't a drop so a shammy can equally choose it if they want.
