Well it increases the crit damage you would do with your lava bust if it crits. Keep in mind that if you have a flameshock on the enemy and you use lave burst thats a 100% chance of a crit. Lava flows just simply adds more damage when it crits. Plus I must have 51 point b/c I do want Thunderstorm. Let me hear your reason for not putting them there, maybe you can convince me to move them somewhere else.

Well the way i see it Lava Burst is a new shock spell that in theory could be implemented in a dps cycle, altho i havent tryed it on beta but if its about the same as any other "shock" its a nice addition for you damage but in the end , in my oppinion, it would be a decrease in your DPS.
That why i asked in my original post the reason for putting talents in Call of flame and lava flows.
I see it more as a pvp-ish skill, as its a high damage burst, but i dont see much use for it in pve.

Lava burst = cast spell :)

not a shock :)

so yes :)
putting points to increase dmg with Lava Burst is quite good :)

other talents got nerfed AGAIN ... so better to put em there then somewhere else :)

Your build is OK, I see that you are trying to get as much crit chance as possible. But to me it's just to far down the resto tree for me.

About the Shamanistic Focus, I did over look that, for some reason I though that was something you activate to make your shock spells 45% cheaper. But I guess it's permanent. Arg now more thinking to do...

I am not sure if any of you have noticed, but since they changed the spell power totem to flametongue and it uses a fire totem, hence you would not use it, as you would use totem of wrath I have a better spec. http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=hE0Vq0detMxst0xxI

If you are going to pick up Lava Flows (only use is for FS/LvB combo) then why not pick up Call of Flame for LvB damage?

I would also certainly pick up Shamanistic Focus for 1 point to lower the cost of shocks (FS in this case). Dropping a point from may be Unrelenting Storm would probably be better on your mana in the long run.

I would personally have to pick up Eye of the Storm.. pushback drives me crazy. To get that and Call of Flame I'd probably drop Reverberation. I've never thought a 1 sec cd on shocks is worth 5 talent points.

The 5% crit given up from "Tidal Mastery" is regained in ehancement with "Thundering Strikes". Also in enhance you get +spell damage from weapon imbue, reduced shock cost, imp. water shield and +10% mana. To get to "Tidal Mastery" you pick up zero other skills that benefit elemental damage.
