I've been looking but haven't found anything I can go off of. I'm looking for a macro that will turn off growl, cower, and call of the wild with a button press since blizzard hasn't fixed the problem with the auto turn-on.

I've used something like the following on my hunter:
/petautocastoff Growl
/petautocastoff Cower
/petautocastoff Call of the Wild

Exactly what I was looking for, I didn't know the command. Thanks.

You can also use conditions to turn the auto BACK on in certain situations...for example, lets say you WANT your pet to cower, but not growl, when youi're in a group, to try to keep agro off them...and reverse that behavior when soloing, then you could use:
/petautocast off Growl;Cower
/petautocast on Cower;Growl
/petautocast off Call of the Wild

/petautocast on Cower;Growl
/petautocast off Call of the Wild
Just speaking from personal experience here, but I tried this some time ago. It does work, but for my personal play style, I found that I was often grouped with someone even when actually off playing solo. It really throws a wrench in this type of macro.
I eventually settled on two macros: one called "TankPet" and one called "DpsPet", each of which turned things on & off appropriately. I would just switch them on the actionbar, and
almost always
remembered to do it before the first pull in an instance. ;)
YMMV.

You could always add "indoors" to "party" so it would only change the settings if you're in an instance or indoors AND in a party.

Yeah, it's really not a big deal to have them on. I don't do alot of solo stuff and if I do, the mob is usually dead before it reaches me anyways. I just kept forgetting to turn off CotW before boss fights and wouldn't have it when I hit my CD macro.

I had a feeling about this and just confirmed it. There are two types of grouping conditionals:
party
,
raid
- These determine if your
target
is in a party or a raid.
group
- This one determines if
you
are in a party or raid.
group
is equivalent to
group:party
and
group:raid
implies
group:party
.
So that macro would have to be:
/petautocast off Growl; Cower
/petautocast on Cower; Growl
/petautocast off Call of the Wild
