I would have to say my most reminiscent moment in the World of Warcraft has to be: My first run in Zul'Farrak. The run consisted of a 53 dwarf rogue, a 42 Night Elf Warrior, a 43 Night Elf Hunter, another Night Elf Warrior level 43, with me a Human Paladin at level 45, healing.
The run was pretty normal except for the Dwarf Rogue was trying to tank, we get by all the mobs fine we get to the top of the pyramid and start the troll rush event, the Dwarf lags at the start of the event. Every one starts freaking out because the Dwarf isn't moving so the hunter decides he will send his pet at one of the trolls while he attacks another. The same goes for both of the warriors. Finally the Dwarf starts attacking again, except he doesn't attack a troll the others are attacking since he was the closest to the bottom the trolls started attacking him first. About a fourth of the way through I notice my mana is starting to get low and as I'm running out of mana everyone starts freaking out even more. Three-fourths of the way through the trolls I level. Seeing my all my mana restored it seemed like every one was uplifted and we finished the events and the following elites no problem.
Just seeing me atop the pyramid when I leveled and the events that followed was the best moment I have ever had in WoW.

Well I've been around on my server for a long long time, since December 2004. Back then most people didn't rush to 60, I and the group of people that quested with (all from different guilds). Did most instances together, it was a horrible group composition, imagine 3 paladins, 1 mage and the forth was in between a 4th paladin and a rogue. It will always be my best and fondest memories clearing Deadmines, Stockades, Razorfen Downs, Blackfathom Deeps, and all in between all the way up to Dire Maul with this group. Every time we cleared an instance it was awesome. Clearly in time we all realized that we would never do level 60 instances with out a real tank and a healer considering paladin tanking at the time was horrible at best. But being with them is one of the greatest things I've had in my WoW times.
Other great moments include the first time I saw a mount in game, there were so few around at the time that when you saw one you would stop and see it.
The first Ragnaros kill, it was incredible as well. I doubt there will be any kill to top this for me.

Here we go...
My favourite (and most cherished) moment in WoW would have to be the opening of the AQ gates on my home server, Shattered Hand. I played on this server for almost 3 years, ever since the release of the game, as an Undead Rogue.
It was long and endless night. A handful of us were waiting for the hour, chatting on vent, and getting jacked up on caffeine. By 5:00 AM, over 300 players had shown up to witness the greatest server event in the history of World of Warcraft. Mind you, there were only about 25 of us Hordies. As, of course, the population ratio of the two factions was notoriously imbalanced at that time. Nevertheless, at this glorious night, the alliance actually felt pity for the handful of horde that did manage to show up and let them be. Or as we liked to think that we were all together in this one. Since we all knew that to make this event possible, everyone had to join together and turn in hundreds of thousands of cloth and leather and such. All of the past hatreds and rivalries had to be put aside for the night to fully enjoy what was to come next.
And what was next? No one knew until, the man with the hammer, a member of the renowned guild <Drama> showed up (15 minutes late) and rang the gong on the door, behind which laid the never-before-seen horrors of the Silithid. And out came the giant Anubisath Defenders. They poured out in the dozens and raised havoc over the puny adventurers of Azeroth. And so began the which-guild-can-tag-the-mob-first game. There were bodies everywhere. Players dying and then resurrecting and then dying again. About a half an hour in, the Anubisath zerg had been abolished, and there were nothing left to be seen but a pile of bones and the blood-soaked ground beneath them.
By then, guilds had already formed 20-man groups and ventured into the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj. As a member of the zerg guild <The Myrmidons> we did not have much difficulty gathering a mediocre group of twenty and before we knew it, we were inside the instance and were clearing trash mobs to the first boss. By 6:00 AM, The Myrmidons were undoubtedly one of the first guilds on Shattered Hand to slay Kurinnaxx and obtain the epic loots.
I had not felt a rush like that in WoW since then. I have to be honest, I was unable to fall asleep that night, and I don't think the caffeine had much to do with it.

My favorite moment as far as strictly the game is concerned (since of course developing my friendship/relationship with my current boyfriend wins out in general), was when I used to raid on my rogue back in the BWL days... and my first time fighting Vaelstrasz.
It's just purely epic. I walked in and see him already at 30% and I'm overwhelmed by the sense of how powerful Vael must be, that he's so difficult to defeat and we start fighting him with less than half his health. The event when you begin the encounter; his speech, how he is battling his inner corruption, and finally the "lightning" that strikes the whole raid when the fight has begun. The adrenaline you get from "fighting against the clock" is just the best feeling I've gotten from this game.
Aahhh.. I miss vanilla WoW. >.<

One of my many favorite memories has to be when I got my mount on my first character.
My first "real" character, which I played to over level 30, was a Night Elf Hunter (<3).
I still remember the day where I was planning to hit 40, but I still missed some of the gold needed for the mount.
I went out of Booty Bay and started to farm the Mistvale Gorillas, for the grey loot, which sold for 67s (or something like that) for one stack of 10. That was a lot of money back then :)
I was still level 39 while farming those. I sat in my room playing for hours to farm the money. The TV was on in the other room playing the songs that were popular at that time. Ah, the memories from that "first time".
Also doing Molten Core and Blackwing Lair for the first time was really good feeling. When my whole guild cried on TS when we downed Nefarian :)
