As with previous holiday seasons, we tend to see our support queue times take longer to get through as more and more folks return to play their games. With that being said, we're seeing an increase in reports from our players that they're having difficulty regarding various payment issues. In these cases, there could be several things which cause a payment to not process correctly. Of the more common issues which we see come up:
Payment information
may not be set up correctly, or may need to be updated. Please keep in mind that subscription payment information is not the same as the info we have for general payment options (
necessary for game purchases, character services, or other purchases from the store
). You'll want to make sure that the information that is listed there is updated and current.
The method of payment may not be one that our system will accept. Although some pre-paid cards will work, others may not. As such, in a case like that it's almost always a better idea to try to purchase a
Battle.net Balance Card
directly from a participating retailer.
Of note: Although that directs you to the EU page and lists the card for Diablo III's AH - this is a general Balance card which is good across the entire Battle.net account. It is also available in other regions like the US as well.
