The object is a large round sphere, mostly gold and blue in color. It's located on the bottom floor of the inn-like building in the thicket, next to a dead Broken's body. Only requires killign a few mobs if need be, tloc is approx. 44,22.

I thought this quest had a neat mysterious feel to it and was hoping for a follow-up with some resolution, but this one just dead-ends. What gives?

Tloc 45,21 confirmed. Look for the corpse of a broken one, the ball lays next to it. And do look for Warden Treelos which gives the q "It's Watching You" He usually stands outside the tower. good luck

All you have to do for this quest is to go inside the inn inside the cenarion thicket, right-click the ball object to loot it and report back to Tavgren. If looting doesnt work, try to relog - and if it still doesn't work, write a Gm ticket.

I just completed this quest - the ball thingy is in front of the counter on the ground floor of the building. I just clicked on it and it worked fine. If you try clicking on it and nothing happens maybe its a bug but it worked fine for me.

Go to the big house at the Cenarion Thicket and inside the big house where there are alot of corpses theres a "Strange Object" on the floor that you can use next to a "Broken Corpse" that you can look at.

I got 94,100 XP from the entire chain. That isn't counting the XP I got from all the kills. Decent numbers if you ask me.

This is an awesome series of quests!

Result was:

Cenarion Thicket Circlet (Head)
Bloodfire Leggings
Arakkoa Divining Rod

Over 50g in rewards.

Over 200k EXP in reward EXP and kills!

I solo'd it all as a level 64 Mage. Only died once because I underestimated the lvl 65 mob guarding the Final Code on the last battle.

To complete this quest you need to investigate the Strange Object next to the Broken Corpse.

Make your way to the abandoned tavern in the Cenarion Thicket and search for Strange Object inside. You need to check it at the desk on ground floor.
You need to interact to the Strange Object and then go to Earthbinder Tavgren to turn in the quest.

as of today's patch 8/31/2021, I can't seem to complete this quest. Can interact with the orb and a text box story pops up, but cannot complete

Investigate the Strange Object next to the Broken Corpse to determine what might have befallen the Cenarion Thicket. Then return to Earthbinder Tavgren just outside the thicket in Terokkar Forest.

I have no idea what killed all of the druids here. I've been away for a couple of days on a survey of the Bone Wastes to the south.

Please, you must help me to uncover what's behind this horrible tragedy. Go into the thicket and look for a clue that might reveal something to us. When I was in there briefly, I could have sworn I saw a dead Broken and a strange object next to him.

And don't worry about Treelos - he might have been driven insane by what happened, but I think he's mostly harmless.
