Pick this quest up and just kill em as you see em. They're literally all over the zone, you're better off doing other quests and killing the Elekks that cross your path. Very very easy 10k xp. Quest becomes repeatable for rep upon completion.

I needed only kill 3 Wilk Elekk, so no hard drop..

all around the little pond at 61 43 there are elekk and they dropped 100% for me

I'm somewhat disappointed that after getting friendly in zangar with kurenai and consort in mana-tombs that i cannot do this quest once, easy rep/gold that I lose acess to simply because I did a few runs/quests before i came here

Don't need the quest for these to drop, I've been collecting them and didn't even know what they were for, except they weren't grey. Just looked it up here to find out exactly what quest, and I don't have it yet.

Just start killing the yellow Wild Elekk (passive) while doing the nesingwary 30-of-each grind. Collect as much as you can get, they are all over map so not hard to find. The drop is 100% and you need only 3 for this quest. It will be a repeatable quest afterwards for consortium rep.

This quest *IS* in the game. It is a PRE-Friendly quest thats why you can repeat it for rep.

The people not seeing this quest most likely turned in the escort and became friendly.

First off they are not focused on any central location as the many posters have posted coordinates of good hunting grounds.

Wild Elekks are spread all over the place, but BULL Elekks are at those coordinates.

If you click on Wild Elekk link in the pair of ivory tusks, it will show a map that has them all over the place. It'll say "70,46" but that's just one spot. All the dots on the map are previously found/killed targets of Wild Elekks.

You have to go to a specific area and fan out looking for them.

And as some said this is only completable until you are friendly and then you have to focus on the warbeads.
Either you can go to the Burning Blade Ruins east of Telaar
or Laughing Skull Ruins west of Throne of the Elements.

I was offered the quest, neutral with consortium (0 of 3000), and have not done the escort quest.

This and its repeatable follow-up are available only until Friendly with Consortium.

ok i am past friendly with the consortium and i have never seen or done this quest is ther a pre req to it or something? also if its true this quest is keeping me from opening the thrall chain

for those who can't find any, 46,61 should be a right spot for Wild Eleks. go there, pew pew pew pew, done.

While you cannot turn the repeatable version of this in after Friendly, you cant still turn in this version after Friendly, if you previously picked it up while Neutral

Collect 3 Pair of Ivory Tusks and return them to Shadrek at Aeris Landing in Nagrand.

Ivory is a much sought after prize. I have many customers lined up in far off places to purchase it.

I could be convinced to let you in on a cut of the profits.

The wild elekk roaming Nagrand have the high quality of tusks that I'm after. Steer clear of the bull elekk; their ivory isn't in the condition that I desire.

Oh and don't worry, it's not poaching; I have an understanding with both the orcs and the draenei.
