You won't see a blip come up on your minimap, so just goto the northwest pool in the middle of the dead mire.

I found the NPC at 81,36. So if the NPC is not at 80,36 check 81,36. Thanks for the help all! Also as stated by other users you may have to clear some mob's but try to leave some giants to kill for the next part.

Somebody else posted a quest list like this for Hellfire peninsula and i found it one of the most helpful things ever. So i decided to make one for horde players in zangamarsh. they are listed in the approximate order you receive them (well at least the order i got them), and some of the names may be a bit cut off. To complete this quest you need to search for Scout Jyoba.

Leave Swamprat Post and follow the road to the north to The Dead Mire area. Carefully cross the area and search the northern part of the mire.
Scout Jyoba is dead and his body on the ground next to the giant skeleton and lake. Check the minimap as you proceed so you can see the quest mark.

Now that you're familiar with the terrain, I'd like to ask your help with something else. The Dead Mire, we've taken to calling the area to the northwest, is an eerie place. No one has ever reported seeing anything alive there, but they didn't stay for very long, either.

Scout Jyoba volunteered to investigate the area and report on his findings. He left the post three days ago and hasn't returned. It's not like him to be gone that long without sending some kind of report. Will you search for him, <name>?
