Even though the quest says its completed after you kill Lord Xiz, you HAVE to remember to put that Draenei banner through his corpse, otherwise Kessel won't accept that you finished the quest.

Lord Xiz is in the middle of the temple in Wrathscale Lair, at 68, 67.

Pretty easy quest, I did it at level 12, and didn't die.

Xiz is easy to spot, in the middle of Wrathscale Lair, at the top of the hill. :]

The mobs around him was actually harder then him

Go to the Nortwest corner of Wrathscale lair there is a small hill(67,65) you can jump onto ruins from. Xiz is right there pating from 68,67 to 68,68. There is a small wall there also you can pull and then run behind to make the casters come to you, (line of sight). Hope this helps :)

I am a draenei and received it. It is either both or mislabeled because I am alliance obviously.

if someone has killed him prior to you, and the corpse is still visible, you can still plant the flag and complete the flag part of the quest.

Unless there was a bug that has been fixed, this seemed like one of the more straight forward quests there is... Lord Xiz (68,68) on top of the wrathscale lair.. kill and click on flag in inventory.. quest compleat.. grab the ruinous polyspore at (67,66)either before or after killing Xiz..

This is a horde quest? Dammit, my draenei is fighting for the wrong side.

This quest is straight forward. Apparently it is both Alliance and Horde. As draenei I did it at lvl 11. Lord Xiz is found at ruins at top of a hill marching back and forth down middle isle. He is surrounded by lvl 12. He is lvl 13 so make sure you kill all on your side of ruin prior to aggroing him.

I need you to deliver a message to their leadership, <name>. To the northeast is Wrathscale Lair, home to Lord Xiz. Find him, slay him where he stands and drive this banner through his corpse.

Let them know fear whenever they should see our standard!
