East of Odesyus' Landing is a goblin camp. There are actually two subcamps there.

The one where there's a small campfire you will find the Nautical Map (it looks like some scrolls on top of a cage).

The one nearest to the water has only a big crystal in its center and there you will find the compass on a chest.

The Reputation reward amounts aren't accurate for some reason.
I just did this quest with my dwarf alt in hope of getting my SW rep up for a mount in mind, and I only got 8 stormwind rep out if it.

Same goes for the other three Stormwind faction quests on Azuremyst Isle, the amounts aren't what's listed on the site.

The camp is due east of Odesyus' Landing. Enemies are level 6-7. Someone had cleared it right before me, so I only had to kill 2 guys, but they were pretty easy.

Got this quest without the prerequisite, but lost the quest the Prophecy of Velen when i finished the chain at Azure Watch, therefore losing some XP. I was surprised of this, usually (read pre-Burning Crusade) all the links, whatever the order, were available. Is it a bug, is it me?

Alright to be a little more useful for non-coordinate users such as myself, here are the descriptions of the locations. To the far east near the corner of the island, there are a group of venture co. goblins mining for gems, one main excavation and about 20 yards closer to the shore, another smaller camp. The larger camp holds the map and the smaller camp holds the compass. They are held under a purple piece of cloth, each on top of a barrel.
Once more,
Nautical Map (Right-click and wait) : Under a purple shade on a barrel in the main Venture Co. Excavation Site.
Nautical Compass (Right-click and wait): Under a purple shade on a crate near the smaller excavation site.

Additional Notes: Right-clicking the items produces quite a large area of threat, so be careful and try to clear some of the mobs near the area. Finally, I hope this was helpful :). Have fun!

Admiral Odesyus at Odesyus' Landing wants you to recover the Nautical Compass and Nautical Map stolen by the Venture Co.

Descrizione

I am Admiral Odesyus of Alliance Naval Command. Our ship was forced to port on your island due to an infestation of sorts. It's embarrassing to even talk about, but goblins somehow managed to stow away in the holds of both of my ships.

Last night, while most of the ship's crew was asleep below deck, they struck!

Stranger still, they took our navigation gear and jumped ship!

They disappeared into the thicket, east of here. Will you go in search of our gear? It will make for a strong gesture.
