At 39, 40 is the altar.

Altar is at the south end of the pools of Aggonar, its in the water, alot of blobs around.
After you use the signaling gems, 3 draeni walk toward the altar, a lvl 62 is the quest target, and 2 paladins 57-58.

pretty easy if you're a caster, 1 chain lightning crit was enough for me to kill the quest target

Don't worry about the crowd, in my case the quest target was killed by someone and I still got the credit for the kill. Didn't even get to see him before he died actually.

Did this easily as a 61 warrior. Cleared up to the altar, summoned them and intimidated shout the 2 on the sides. Popped recklessness and killed the main Draenei.

Coords are good. Draenei approached the altar from the west side. I had a 62 guarded by two 59s, not 57s. Still, they all went down real easy, especially since i did this a little late at 64. None of em hit very hard.

Everyone about has accurate info. I just ran up to the altar, run away from the blobs (You may want to clear a little) start blasting the Draenei Anchorite while the pallies were busy with my Stoneclaw totem. After that you can destroy the pallies, they don't hit hard and quite weak. They stun and bubble.

i did it in lvl 60 whit my hunter. it is easy i only send my pet on all of them and healed my pet. then i killd the boss(he you need to kill) and then the adds

Soloed easily as a 61 feral druid. The Altar is at 39,40 , and placing the signaling gem summoned two lvl 59 Draenei Vindcators guarding the quest objective, a lvl 62 Draenei Anchorite.

The Anchorite has some decent nukes but not much HP - pour damage onto him and he'll die pretty quickly.

Lol, make sure to clear the mobs around - I had the worst of luck. Just when the party arrived, a wandering terrorfiend decided to pitch in, and since one of the mobs can throw you around, it threw me close enough to aggro a few of those oozes. Couple that with the anchorite`s hammer of justice to prevent my healing and my tauren racial stun (yeah, they actually managed to beat me to that stun), not even my 8.7k HP in bear form could help me...

Lol - I`ll remember this fumble for some time :)

The melee mobs have Hammer of Justice spell, stuns for 5 sec or so. Also, they bubble.

I would advise not to be lazy and to clean the oozes and terrorfiends a bit. It won't take loads of time but will guarantee u dont wipe there.

Easily done as a 61 Resto Shaman 10/0/41 in my Resto Gear (414 +Healing/286 +Damage)

I came in from the west as mentioned above and cleared everything on that side for at least 30 yds. Dropped the beacon and waited for all 3 to reach the end of there run, used Earth Shield and dropped a Mana Spring and hit them with a Chain Lightning and a Searing Totem. Killed the 62 first using Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning when it was up. Just make sure you Earth Shock his Holy Fire when he starts casting, it's actually a long cast time so if your in the middle of a Lightning Bolt you could easily finish and then Earth Shock. Killed the other 2 in the same fashion, just FF one with Lightning Bolt and throw in a Chain Lightning for the extra damage on the other to help.

Tips to use are make sure you keep up Earth Shield as they will HoJ you keeping you from popping a heal if you get too low, with Earth Shield you shouldn't ever get too low. I did have to pop a Heal once because I let Earth Shield expire for too long.

Solo'ed this quest. I dropped the npc first to finish the quest. His pally buddies both bubbled (pansies). A terrorfiend aggro'd and so did a slime mob.

I had to FD 2x and spam multi-shot. Managed to drop all the mobs but was near death. I had to use the bubble trinket too.

Tricky but not that hard.

Solo'd as a 61 Rogue also. The platform is partially submerged in one of the pools. After placing the Gem, 3 NPCs slowly approach from the northwest, near the path that leads up.

Make sure you clear the mobs to the west of them altar especially, as that is where the draenei come from, just makes it that little bit easier :) GLHF.

Soloed boss as 61 rogue easy enough, was about to vanish from other 2 and an alliance priest took advantage of my low health to gank me.

Suppose I should not have ganked him earlier :P

Can confirm: "39,40 standing on altar"

Its near the beginning of the pools, no where near the gigantic buildings at the back which are relitvly clear on your maps x]

51 hunter, beast spec, solo.
Wasn't hard, as said before hit the caster (anchorite) first hes the one you want to complete the quest.
They'll take a minute to spawn so get ready.

My method, send pet into rage as soon as the party appear, hit the caster. Drop a freezing trap and freeze one of the guardians. Kill caster, kill unfrozen guard, hit the last guy.

Would advise you clear out the area around the altar, the drenai can't kill you really, they aint that strong but the oozes will :P

When you start into pools area, on the left about 1/3 way in, there is 2 curved stones to a path, i walked through them and them spawned, 2-58 and a 62. need to kill the 62 to get credit for quest. soloed as 60 hunter 62 and then died. go credit for quest.

The draenei paladin comes in from the left and ways a bit before coming to the alter. Had to place the gem three times on the alter before I was able to attack the target as someone else kept attacking him when he spawned.

There is a two minute cool down on the gem before you can use it again.

idid this quest today.. first attempt failed.. didnt clear it because i didnt kno they could see invis so i ended up agroing everybody.
2nd attempt i succesfully did it =D but i suicided after i killed the caster and battle res then fly to falcon and went to mag'har post to turn int he quest from org

Run up to the altar, whith your back to falcons watch clear the left and infront of you. Use the gem provided, wait a bit and then you'll see 3 mobs moving in at the left side. The middle one is a caster, really easy to kill. The other two are paladins. If you can CC one and finish the other then the last one and go away :D

As a L62 hunter I placed a frost trap pulled 1 paladin into the trap and finished the caster. Killed the spare paladin then the one I froze.

Really easy, nice rewards!

did it as lvl60 hunter, pretty easy battle, make sure you clear the ooze to the west of the altar, as that is where the drenei come from.

Just nuke the guy in the middle. When everyone converges about you -> fear and continue nuking the same guy (caster, I think?). No problemo.

Soloed as a 61 Frost Mage without using Elemental. They appear to have less health then a regular mob of their level. The Anchornite died from 2 Frostbolts and then a Fireblast. Easy fight only lost 15% of my health and about 25% mana.

To complete this quest you need to place the Signaling Gem near the Altar of Aggonar at the Pools of Aggonar and defeat Draenei Anchorite.

So, you could visit Pools of Aggonar several times before, the area is located to the north of Falcon Watch and populated mostly by slimes and Terrorfiends.
Follow along the fel creek for a while and you barely miss Altar of Aggonar - its a stone slab. Wipe out wandering mobs around so they won't join the fight.
Use provided Signaling Gem and wait for a while. After few seconds a Draenei Anchorite come up with adds. Get rid of them and the quest is done.

Descrizione

Our scouts captured a draenei paladin at the Pools of Aggonar. He was to take part in a cleansing ritual to purify the pools. We must stop the draenei from succeeding or we will lose our supply of felblood!

He was carrying this signaling gem, looking to mark a spot where a priest - or "anchorite" as they call themselves - could perform their rituals in safety. Place the gem near the Altar of Aggonar and be ready to ambush any approaching draenei.

I suggest that you take a friend or two along.
