In fact, they can be found at 23,7 and 23,9. Use the water pool to kill them, pull the mobs and swim there. Then, try to kill once at a time, trying to get out of battle with the others. It is not hard.

They seem to spawn at the same location everytime so it shouldn't be a problem to find them.

You turn in the heads at the Bubbling Cauldron(at 32.27) and once the quest is finished you can access two new quests
(Speaking with Nezzliok and Speaking with Gan'zulah) at the Bubbling Cauldron.

Real problems here, area seems real bugged. Fighting blind as npc's no where near fights, first kill on Nezz I could not loot, I was to far away as his body died somewhere else.
Very annoying died again cos I could not see or target what was hitting me!

Been at loc for Gan'Zulah for over an hour and killed guards 3 times, still no spawn of him....

For Gan'Zulah appear you need clear top area. otherwice you find only Nezzliok.

Both coords were right for me. 23.7 for Gan'Zulah 23.9 for Nezzliok.

Didn't have a problem as a 40 Paladin. Swam up to Gan'Zulah and only pulled him and one Witch Doctor. Nezz was a bit harder, 4 mobs plus him. Managed to do it though.

There must be an easier way to work up there, Im getting attacked by 3-4-5 guys at a time they seem to have real long paths and large aggro ranges. Lvl 37 Warlock. I almost died every few battles and then as I got into near the firepits around the water I would aggro 4 or 5 of them and it was too much ..

Rather than fight your way through what seems like a ton of trolls, you can skip to the top by going up the mountainous area on the East side of the troll ruins. There you run along the wall until it meets the mountain. Takes a few attempts sometimes but you can jump onto the wall in the corner where it meets the mountain.

Once on the wall there is a small ledge that runs along the water side of the wall. You can run along it (face the wall so you don't fall off) until you are at the DEEP water pool (not the first water you come to, it's the 2nd pool). Pick off trolls in front of Gan'zulah. Once Gan'zulah is down you only have 2 or 3 mobs to pull and then you can pull Nezzliok.

Remember that he spawns in front of the THRONE against the back wall of the temple's top floor. He is on a very, very long respawn timer, so pray someone else hasn't been there before you.
Went in as a Lv 37 War with a Lv 36 Mage. You can get to him pretty easily if you hop on the wall's edge and just run past the mobs. You won't aggro until you're near Nezz. After we killed him, we hopped off the top floor's west side down to the ground, and then made our escape along the coastline via the temple's western exit.

I almost missed the FOLLOWUP QUESTS for this.

After you put the heads in the cauldron, Kinweelay nearby says, "Ah, good <name>. You may speak now speak (game typo) to the Bloodscalp chief and his witchdoctor."

At this point, you will be able to speak to the Boiling Cauldron again, and get two new quests, "Speaking with Nezzliok", and "Speaking with Gan'zula"

easy with lvl40 fury warrior.. just cleared so that I could run there on the walls and then waited for the spawns... had to wait for the other one a bit, killed about 40 trolls when waiting, and got many pages of green hills. :) Easy quest.

I soloed it on a 39 druid, but it was very trying. Basically, I stealthed up the back entrance, cleared a decent fighting area at the edge of the pool (literally, the rim of the pool, back a ways from the guy), and then single pulled the bulk of the adds. I rooted the add on Ganny's left, which somehow didn't cause the add on his right to aggro. Ganny came charging in, and became cat chow.

That was the fourth time or so that I tried. The first time someone ninjaed him out from under me, and then the respawn killed me. Second time I tried sneaking up behind him, which didn't work and I got aggro from both. Third time the root didn't hold long enough and the add got a Healing Ward off.

So yeah, it seems like Ganny and Nezzy are both linked to one add each, and pulling that add will get them without too much excessive aggro.

Gan'zulah has a respawn timer of around 10-15 minutes in Patch 2.3.0. He's easily killed by a crowd control class and doesn't really do much damage to a level 41, as he's a 41 normal himself. He dropped Regal Boots of the Owl when I fought him.

You dont have to fight your way through the trolls to get to these bosses, and they are not difficult to fight as of 2.3.

At 26.10 you can jump from a hill onto the wall... follow the wall north til it dead-ends and there is a very small ledge running west... hop onto the ledge and carefully follow it... it ill run you smack dab into the two mobs without having to pull/fight your way through the entire mess of Zul'Kunda. You can use this ledge to get out as well. Good luck!

Once you recieve the quest head north to the river that meets Nessingwary's Camp, Head west along the lake front until the hills south open up again. Head a little west into the hills here bordering the camp and find the spot where the wall and hills meet(3.). Runn along the wall untill you reach the higher Pool of water. Gan'zulah(1.) can be pulled solo but it's tough you will usually get one add. He is on a random spawn rate, can be 5 minutes can be 45 i've seen both. Nezzliok will always pull with the shammy beside him, again very easy fight.

You can fight you way out, which is easy for most Melee, but us casters would look too running or hearthing. If you drop just west of the two quest mobs you can run past opposing force fairly easily, and then run the shore line back to Grom. Or just use the same path to get out as you got in, near the eastern edge of the upper pool you can hop back onto the ladge with ease.

Easy way to get both leaders: (i know that thsi is long but it will save you trouble...if you dont catch agro on the way)

1. Go to the entrance of The ruins of Zul' Kunda (27,10) ish

2. Climb up a hill on the right side of the trail that leads into the ruins

3. Once on top of the hill there will be a wall, turn right intil you cant go any further

4. There is a small hill with a tree covering part of it, go on the hill and try to jump off onto the wall ( it just looks like a ledge from the angle you will be looking at)

5. Once on the wall go right until the ledge ends

6. Next you have to walk along a very small ledge that leads into a pool with water falling down some stairs (no, you cannot just walk up the stairs they are too big)

7. Go into the pool and keep moving until you see Gan' zulah with two other mobs, i pulled him with only one mob and he was easy enough to kill

8. turn around, go back to the stairs and on the left side there is anoher ledge, walk all the way around that ledge until you see a ramp that leads down

9. go across the path and resume walking on the ledge at the very end before the first turn is Nezzliok

10. come back the way you came

i was able to do it as a lvl 38 shaman but Gan'zulah was kinda hard because he hits kinda fast so if your a lower lvl and cant heal or fear or somthing i would wait till lvl 40

Gan'zulah dual wields and hits very fast/hard, as a 39 warrior in mostly greens in beserker stance he got me to about 20%, i had to pop last stand to live through his damage alone since the gaurds were already dead for some reason. nezzilok hits slower with his staff, but also hits hard. Not as hard as Gan'zulah though, got him when i was at 50%

Their both located at the most northern part of STV. You can climb over the hills to skip some pulls in the entrance

Gan'zulah's Head - Level 41spawns at 23,8 (Located right across from Nezzliok.)
Nezzliok's Head - level 40 spawns at 23,9 (Facing toawrds Gan'zulah)

They both spawn at the top. When you enter go straight until you start going down then hug the right wall and take the ramp up.
You should see a campfire and alot of mobs at the top.

Another good way to get in if you're special like me and kept falling of the narrow ledge:

Head to the northwest corner of the temple via the beach. Kill the 2 guards at the archway, head up the path, kill the beast master and his cat, then climb the hills to your left (or north if you get turned around). You can then climb to the east, jump down on the wall, and you're right next to all the baddies you need to kill.

Gaz will spawn after the area where Nezz is cleared. He will pop up where the throne is. You just have to wait for repops after clearing.

He's in the same courtyard as the other named. As someone stated above, he doesnt seem to load until you clear the area.

When he does load, he loads by the water. A good strat for fighting him is to use the water to your advantage. Take out a minion and hop into the pond, repeat til it's just him.

there is a trick to agroing just gan'zula without having to go through the whole place fighting trolls.

enter from the beach and when you get to the first wall, go up the hill to your left. go up high enpugh so that you can see ganzula's head. target him and pull. he will jump over the wall and attack you on the hill.

The back door is very advisable.. I soloed as a lvl 38 Shadowpriest, and when i finally found the place, i easilly took them out..

A hint is: When you can see Gan'Zulah, don't pull him like you are told to by other players. That way you wil aggro both him and the 4 lvl 37 guards. Instead you should pull the guard closest to you. That way you will only aggro Gan'Zulah and 1 guard. After that you can kill the other guards one by one. Then jump onto the platform, and from there you can see Nezzliok (about 20 meters from Gan'Zulah)

As i said real easy.

Try pulling one of the adds next to the boss insted of the boss itself then you only get the two to wory about insted of four.

There are a lot of these guys, and they spawn fairly fast. I couldn't solo it as a 40 Druid. I got really close, but respawns and 2 witch doctors around Gan prevented me from getting his head. So, I did what I did with Hezrul, I went into prowl form, snuck up behind Gan, killed him, died, and when I rezzed, I got his head! lol

hm... pretty easy, just kill kill kill until you reach the part where you can run straight (on the right, or up on the left... went up, killed and killed.. then walked around the edge of the place avoiding mobs... jumped in the water swam, charged into the guy that's by the throne... beat the !@#$ out of him and IntimShout asap... killed him looted and jumped in the water - freaked out cuz the witch doctors arent afraid of the water.. but, stayed alive.. eventually killed those 2 and ran straight to the ledge across from the water- charged into the middle for the other guy.. just beat him up and AE feared as soon as i could.. had to die here though, had like 8 guys on me and earthgrab totems like hell so i just used my PVP trinket looted with a shift+right click and died :P res'd and jumped of towards the beach - i made a map!

Soloed as lvl 38

I was able to reduce the mobs around both to just two minions each without aggroing. I then sapped one of the minions, enabled evasion, slew the boss the slew the minion. No truoble at all. Gan really is very, very weak for a lvl 41 and hardly caused any dmg on me, Nez were somewhat harder

I soloed this just this morning as a 38 Feral Druid. Simply stealth up the ramp from the main camp, and follow the big stone ledge around until you can see the chieftain sitting on his throne. From that point, in the far corner, unstealth and you will pull only 2 mobs, the 41 Chieftain, and 1 37 witch doctor. Simple fight if you know your class, although I found it easier to kill the Cheif before the witch doctor, as it's DPS wasn't anything to worry about

As for the Main Witch Doctor, forgot his name, he simply spawns with a 37 berserker, and any class can get to him easily at 38ish, just stop earlier on your path around the large stone ledge.

go back to camp, and click on the boiling pot near the entrace inside the camp they whant the heads in a pot, its not a person your see and it doesnt show u a yellow quest mark on map

Hi.. i'm level 43 mage and i can't get this quest in grom gol :S when i click the npc he only gives some other quests but not the bloodscalp clan heads quest.. i haven't done this quest yet so its really weird i can't get it, anyone knows how? :S

I just solo'd this as a 39 druid....stealth all the way in until you see nezz, get in the far corner behind the tree and pull a guard. Nezz came with him but I wrapped nezz in thorns took out the guard and stood one on one with nezz taking him quickly. steal again and get into the pool and pull other mobs before ghan rezzs. when he does, with two other guards get back into the pool and pull the guard. Ghan came with the guard which meant he got wrapped in thorns, faire fire, and moonfire. take out the guard then you stand one on one with ghan. try to get to one end of the pool and work backwards. thorns, faire fire, moonfire, starfire. repeat each time ghan comes out of thorns or one of the DOTs wears off put it on again. took me 10 mins total. oh yeah I healed, bandaged, and popped pots like crazy. it helps that i am herb/alch. and resto.

Quest is still a little buggy, imo. I had to clear the area 3 times before Gan would spawn. If this requires you to clear that whole side faster than they respawn, I can't see a non-dps class soloing it, unless they're high lvl. Even as a mage it was tough to clear them faster than they respawned. With some people reporting that Gan was there when they got there, I wonder if they were following up behind others that killed Nez, or if his respawn is simply arbitrary.

tried alone at 39 hunter and got to the spawn zone...... waited and waited....... so i logged off and said what the hell ill try this again. so at the top of ramp i met up with a mage and pally, who were willing to grp with me. of course at the pool and courtyrd both npc's were there. so just stick with it, if you have a buddy go for it.

i went up the beach side. decided i didn't want to fight my way in so died right up against the wall. rezzed right in front of gan and was immediately killed. then was able to rez in pond where i summoned my vw, regained health and mana then picked off the trolls by ones and twos. after i got both heads (both guys were there the whole time) i just let them kill me again to get out of there quickly

Okay I found a good method totally on accident. I did it as a 39 Frost Mage, so you can play with this way and find your own.

If you're facing the front, go to the wall on the far right, and you can hop on the wall from the hill just right and get on top of it. Now that you're on the wall, go all the way right so that the pool of water is in sight. You'll notice a very thin section of wall that's gray, and JUSt thin enough to walk across. You can take this all the way to the pool. From there, you can stand on a piece of a pillar in the water, and you should have a clear sight of Gan. He's got 2 Witch Doctors next to him and 2 headhunters a couple feet in front of him. You can pick the headhunters off with ease. After that, I hit the Witch Doctor closest to the pool with a frostbolt. This pulls the Witch Doctor and Gan himself, but not the other one. Somehow I killed the Witch Doctor and used a health potion, then kill Gan while swimming lol. That's easy. Now go to the left edge of the pool(you may have to kill a few trolls to make it safe) and walk up to near where Gan was. Now you should be able to see the other guy. I just hit him, which pulled everyone else, Frost Nova'd them all, and killed him. When the mobs broke free, I had to run, but if you stand on that pillar in the pool, you will be impossible to reach, and they will immediately go back to where they were. Now you can easily loot the last guy. =D Piece of cake!

I did kinda a big sneak attack.. when you come towards the camp, from the east, you can climb some pretty high hills.

if you walk up on a high hill you will be able to jump to the wall wich is surrounding the camp.

when you walk to the north via the wall, you see a very littly edge on the wall. You can hardly stand on it, but when you walk carefull you actually can stand , and walk over it.

then when you've walked the whole edge, you come to a little pond with a waterfall kinda thingy.
when you swim trough the pond, you see these 2 guys close to it, lvl 41 and lvl 40.

you cann easily pull the lvl 41, wich is closest to the pond, with only pulling 1 more wich doktor.
you can just focuss on the lvl 41, kill it, swim back to the edge (after looting it ofc.), then the doktor will loose agro and went back.

the lvl 40 guy is a bit further, you cant really kill him from this point, but when you walk trough the mobs, die once, and ress at a safe spot, you can also take that one with max. 1 mob with him.

So many different ways to go.... After reading I chose the route of coming over the hill on the eastside. Jumping onto the wall and walking the ledge to the pool 'after' the water fall. Right infront of you is Gan. With a close guard. Gan is a lvl 41. Some say Naz and Gan appear when u kill the other. Not true. It depends on the last time someone came through. Simple enuff. If u are facing Gan and look to your left. There is a big tree walk next to it. Face so it is on your left side and and Gan is on right. Pull in one at a time until your front is cleared. Walk across and stand on the ledge. Turn around. Gan is on your left now and Naz on your right. Infront of Gan is a close guard and 2 more infront of that one. The 2 infront can be pulled individualy. Do so. It seems no matter what I try I have to fight Gan and the close guard at the sametime. After doing so. Do the same for Naz who is a lvl 40.

The Coordinates stated earlier (not the ones with Wrong written really big under them but further down) were mixed up to me the first time
Then i helped a friend do her quest adn they weren't.
Then we helped a low level do this quest and Gan'zulah appeared before Nezzliok then vice versa the next time.
It's a matter of chance.
Gan'zulah could appear first at either 23.7 or 23.9
Nezzliok could do the same
Sometimes they're even there at the same time
The main coordinates are right but you can't assign them to one of the clan heads.

I was lucky enough to have a druid, and stealthed in cat form through the front door, back to Nezz then pulled him from the edge of the wall, only having to deal with one witch doctor I pulled at the time.

I soloed this as a 38 druid. SUPER easy. Stealthed in, and they were both there at the same time. First one came with 2 adds, still np 3 at once. The 41 I thought was gonna come with both his guards, but only the closer came. Didn't even have to heal myself during either fight. I have normal gear never paid more than 2g for anything i bought in ah. I don't know about before, but now if u can stealth, this is the easiest quest I have done in a long time.

If your a druid and you think you are gonna pull multiple mobs, start a regrowth before you go in, you'll start the fight with healing for about 18 0r 19 seconds, you can even stealth and wait for full energy and still have about 8 to 10 seconds of healing left.

I found that when killing gan'zulah and jumping straight into the water insted of trying to run out, the adds that are pulled with him dont follow you as far. Also if u go to the end of the first pool thers a ledge that u can run along that drops you out the front of zul kunda without needing to hav a single fight

The locations above for Gan are all correct but Nezz seems to move around a lot. I was about to attack Gan and suddenly Nezz was behind me nailing me. Just watch out.

A really easy way to get to the area is to walk along the ledge. You can get onto it in a couple of different places and in doing so bypass quite a few mobs. Then once you are on the upper level sneak to the pool and swim up to take out Gan. Then just kill a few other mobs to get to Nez and you are done. You can sneak out the way you came in. You do not need stealth for this to work!

You definitely need to kill Naz before Gan spawns. I killed naz first and there was no sign of gan until i killed naz a second time

This quest is very doable as lvl 39. As previously mentioned, Gan'zulah and the witch doctor both spawn on the top level of the Zuuldaia ruins. Take it slow and have patience with your pulls to make it to the top.

Once up top head North to the water. Directly West of that pool, against the North wall is Gan'zulah with two witch doctors standing next to him along with some other wandering trolls. If he isnt there but one or both of his witch doctors are, he wont spawn. You must kill both witch doctors for him to appear.

I managed to pull the wandering trolls into the little space just south of Gan'zulah between the water and the tree. I then pulled Gan and his witch doctors, taking them down one at a time.

Nezzliok stands just a lil ways south of where Gan'Zulah spawns. He has some wandering trolls near him but theyre easy to pull away, and he himself is the easier of the two trolls you've been sent to kill.

easy quest as 40 warlock, just gotta have skills and be quick on your feet, you have to use voidwalker for obvious reasons

to get here just find the pool of water near the top the bosses are sitting around there

there is a quick and rather easy way up to the top level.

go to the west side of the ruins and climb up the wall. with a bit of luck you'll find the path that brings you just above the top level and be able to drop down.

I soloed this with a 38 Tauren Hunter. The only problem was that the trolls kept respawning too fast. It really helped to be an engineer with a pack full of bombs.

piece of cake....soloing for a lock is easy....ima lvl 40 druid and a lvl 37 lock helped me out and it was a breeze...the normal mobs are easy just the boss mobs are hard because the usually pull another mob with them and it made it impossible for me to heal myself

This quest is SUPER easy as a warrior. I did this at level 39!

Gan'zulah comes with 2 buddys. What I did was I went in with Defensive Stance, hit Bloodrage, turned on Sweeping Strikes, and hit Retaliation and focused on Gan'zulah. Two of the three went down in about 8 seconds, while the last one was at about 1/4 health.

With Nazzliok I pulled his friend while walking on the north edge. Luckly, the only add was Nazzliok himself. So I focused on Nazzliok, killed him, used a potion, and killed the friend. Easy.

There is a way to get to the bosses without even fighting your way there! But I will leave it to you people to figure it out!

Druid(39): In front of gan zilah there are about 7 mobs and you can pull 5 away without him coming after you, I pulled them one at a time. When there's only the 2 mobs left and right of him left, root one from the ledge of the water and then only gan zilah will come to you, the rooted one will do arrow damage and stay doing that, then pwn gan'zilah in cat form.

Nezzliok the Dire was much easier to solo than Gan'zulah, because Gan'zulah had three to four times more mobs protecting him. They're both in the same area with Gan'zulah at the back, near the water.

My strategy was to kill Nezzliok by approaching him along the stone wall at the front, then kill Gan'zulah by approaching him along the stone wall at the back. That avoided a lot of mobs in the middle.

In Version 1.9.2, no matter how you attack Gan'zulah, you'll draw aggro from 7 - 8 additional mobs; they're all linked to Gan'zulah.

Concentrated on killing Gan'zulah, died near him, immediately ran back to my corpse, rezed, auto looted (shift-right click) the drop and ran away.

So, I am pretty angry about this quest. I did it as a level 37 Hunter. I got Nezzliok easily. Then it was time for the level 41 Gon'zulah. Well, the first time I died because I had to take the mage-type guy that came with him and my pet took Gon'zulah. I hadn't expected for him to hit that hard so by the time I had killed the first aggro my pet died and he was after me.

So I rezzed and all of what I had killed had respawned. Luckily I had room to just pull Gon'zulah. This time I made sure I killed him before killing the second aggro. I ended up killing him but I died trying to kill the 2nd mob. When I went to retrieve the head his body was no longer there and I couldn't take my loot! I am royally pissed off that I have to do the entire thing over again.

Nezzliok Soloed by 42 mage.. Easy $%^&. Mana shield + Pyroblast + 1 Fireball + Fireblast and Cone of cold and he's dead. Then sheep one add and take em one by one =) <3

But Gan' haven't spawned :(

Nezzliok is at 23,9, just before you get to Gan'zulah.
Gan'zulah is at 23,8, with lots of Trolls to go trough to get to him.
If you don't want to fight your way in, go to the East wall of the ruins at 27,8. Climb (jump) up the hill along side the wall until you can jump onto the wall. Get onto the Northern part of the wall and follow it West.
Once you get to the UPPER pool, after the water falls into the LOWER pool, you can jump in. Swim all the way West to the end. This is Gan'zulah spawn spot.
Take out the other trolls close by first, then Gan'zulah and the 2 witchdoctors. If you pull the closest witchdoctor, you may only get him and Gan'zulah, the other witchdoctor might not come.
After you kill them, get on the West wall, careful not to fall off, and take it South. Nezzliok will be on the North side of the tree. Take out the trolls if you can before getting Nezzliok. You pull them into the corner South of the tree to avoid aggro.

I was 48 Shammy at the time (doing quests for Rep), so my aggro was real low. Don't know how easy this will work at lower levels, but thought I'd pass on the info for those who want to solo it.

Gan'zulah definately had respawned within 20 minutes of killing him.

Once you get in the ruins fight your way to the top staying to the left. When you get to 23,9 you will see Nezzliok (level 40)and 2 lvl 38 Headhunters. Kill Nezz first and then the others. Now at the back of the camp you will find Gan'zulah (lvl 41) with 2 Berserkers. Like before kill Gan' first and then the henchmen. I ported back to Booty Bay and then flew to Grom'gol Base Camp to talk to the Bubbling Cauldron to get the next 2 quest.

This quest was so buggered for me, managed to kill Nezzliok 3 times and have his body still there but not 1 person I spoke to had managed to find the other guy.

Yeah, I just soloed with my lvl 10 warrior, blah blah blah!
Honestly, this is a challenge, if you want real advice, ask some one in-game for help!
I did it with my 35 priest and a 36 hunter, was not too hard. (See above)

very easy,go down the beach and come up path, just go up first hill you see,killing lots of witch doctors means its the right way, kill nezillok the dire,gan'zulah takes ages to spawn so be patient,i did it with lvl42 hunter,not too hard

Soloed this as a level 6 numpty. Hit them for six then put two sugars in my tea. Had kipper for breakfast then took out Nezzliok the Dire with a soup spoon. Had no trouble Gan'zulah as he fell to my Ace of Spaces.
Went home and taught my daughter Quantum Mechanics.

If you wear cloth and solo, you may just want to wait until you hit level 40 to try this one. I have to admit I'm dubious of the claims of the 37 warlock below. This was a brutal quest for my 39 lock. Since this is a 41 quest, the mobs lock onto level 39 and lower faster with their radar and gang pretty bad. I laid waste to most of the camp twice along with my Voidwalker before I found the right location. Could take down up to three of these goons at a time as they're not that strong, so all it took was getting a decent jump on the first one and not getting the third involved until the first was almost dead. Died once getting boss number 2's head. But going for the main boss is a different story. With a goon on either side and two just a little in front of him and another on a short route cutting the middle, I could not rush boss number 1 without being gang smacked by a minimum of three and usually four. MY VW could not hold agro worth crap in that situation so even when I tried to stealth it they zeroed in on me very quickly. Tried removing the front line, but when I got down to the two in front of the back three they would all come when I hit one. Sending my minion alone didn't do any good. Tried both the water side and the low wall side with the same results. Finally got a last second kill and snatch with a sacrificed VW and perfect timing, but I had to burn through too many shards and make too many graveyard runs to say it was worth it. This quest is probably easier for characters with real armor at my level, but if you wear cloth go do something else because this is not one of those problem solving braniac quests--its a brutal multiple suicide run unless your timing is absolutely perfect or someone else has been through just ahead of you thinning the herd.

For Nezzliok the Dire I pulled all the mobs from around him, leaving just him and two casters that looked like guards. When I got the area clear I pulled the closest of his guards (not Nezzliok). The second guard didn't come, so I just had to fight him and one guard.

For Gan'zulah I had to clear the area where he spawns to make him show up. He also had two caster guards. Like with Nezzliok I cleared the area first, leaving him and his guards. Since Nezzliok went so easy I tried to melee Gan'zulah down fast right in front of his guards, but ended up fighting all three of them and four totems (failed). On second try I stood on side of the pool and pulled the closest guard (just like I did on Nezzliok) and the second guard didn't come. The first guard put up two totems, but I had him dead before Gan'zulah arrived. I killed the totems and healed myself before fighting Gan'zulah, the fight with Gan'zulah was standard melee.

The beginning of this quest was easy. you just follow the "maze" to the back. Nezz is in the center. I was confused because i could not find Gan. He is in the same courtyard as Nezz, just further back towards the water. I looked there at first, but he wasn't there. Half an hour later I went back after wondering around, and he was there. 42 warrior.

Just did it as a lvl 39 shadow Priest, the first one spawned alone (nez,lvl 40) and was easy, the other spawned with 2 lvl 37 witch docs either side and a lvl 37 bezerker infront of him (he himself is lvl 41) take out the bezerker first, the pull the doctor on the left of him, once they are far enough away from the doctor on the right, just go all out on Gan. loot him, then concentrate on the witch doc.

just fought my way there as a 39 warr. took out nezz and his 2 guards easily with a few sweeping strikes/cleaves, then dropped the other guy in a couple seconds plus adds with retaliation/sweeping strikes/cleaves.

the cauldron is in grom'gol next to the quest giver. after it, 'speak' to the cauldren for 2 new quests.

You are a stronger man than I then. I tried this at 40, but Nezzliok came with about 5 buddies, so there was no way to nuke him down fast enough. How did you get Nezzliok alone?

soloed 1 of them with a lvl 38 rogue had a lvl 39 war 2 help me on the other 1 as he had more mobs next 2 him so they would of owned me in seconds.It was easy,but takes a long time 4 them 2 spawn thats the only bad part.

I just soloed this quest as a 38 Shaman and I do not recommend it but, I will still tell you how I did it. Both bosses are in the same area in Zul'Kunda in a giant courtyard. I cant explain exacty where it is but it is on the upper level and you need to take a ramp up to it.

In the courtyard, there are about 50 bloodscalps in groups of about 4-5 so I could not fight my way in. I went on a suicide mission and ran straight for Nezzliok and I died shortly after getting next to him. Luckily for me, Nezzliok was in a corner of the courtyard and I was able to ressurect behind a tree far into the corner out of aggro range. I healed up and went straight for Nezzliok. I killed him easily with half my health left, grabbed his head and started to run at Gan'zulah.

Next to Gan'zulah is a pool of water that luckly for me, Gan'zulah and his posse dont like to go into and wont attack me if I am in the water. Gan'zulah is much tougher the Nezz, and it took me a few times to take him out. The strategy that worked for me is to take out his guards one at a time. When you kill one, jump back into the water and wait for the aggro to leave, then rinse and repeat. It is tough though because they are witch doctors and have a binding totem that can scew you. Gan is very tough even when he is by himself. He has a very high resist for my spells and he dual wields one handed axes that makes if very hard for me to heal. If you are thinking about soloing him I would suggest a strong healing potion. If you ever find yourself in trouble, just jump into the water and swim away and you will be fine.

I just solo'd this with my 39 lock first try without dieing. I started with succubus and did the seduce with i unleased everything i had on one and then vice-versa. once i reached the top area i just jumped on the ledge there and continued without any agro to Gan'zulah. He has 2 bodyguards by him and there are about 3-4 mobs you need to clear (if you want) to make this Gan'zulah an more open target. Once I cleared these mobs while still using my Succubus I switched to the Voidwalker and made him agro Gan'zulah and his 2 companions. then I just opened up on him first got him dead then right before my VW got killed I sacrificed him for the greater good. While I had the shield I used that time to summon another VW. It was hard to scoope up thatagro at first from both (cuz I think I dotted them while in begining fight) but he managed to grab agro and that was all I needed to finish them off.
Other Boss was much easier.

Ok, i soloed this as a 38 hunter, well not to forget my pet. Guess I lucked out on this one. I went around the back, where the headhunters and berserkers are, and jumped onto the lower lip of the wall. When I was walking to go around Gan attacked my pet. So, after killing him, 3 potions and alot of luck i finally killed his lil' friend. Revived pet. Then a tauren shaman was killing mobs to the front so continuing to stay to the back i tried to pull Nez hoping for only 1 or 2 with him. It went more like 4. Focused on Nez then ran mending pet and having him take aggro til i could get a safe distance away.

I assumed the post about the mobs not following you into the water was true, well apparently not for me.

I soloed this at 41 and am a shadow priest. I pulled Gan'zulah plus his 2 buds, feared, and fully focused on gan'zulah. He died qick and i decided to jump into the water so the 10 mobs that aggro'd would get off. Well they followed me.

Needless to say I died, but resed right by thew corpse and looted it just fine.

Did this quest today with my 46 Warlock. There were no other players in the troll city so I had to clear the way to them all by myself. Got to the courtyard, killed the witch doctor Nezzliok the Dire, but the chief Gan'zulah was nowhere to be seen. I suspected the quest was bugged, and while I was contemplating what to do, the chief and his two henchmen abruptly appeared. There is something wrong with him: the witch doctor popped twice before he showed up. All I can say is, if the chief isn't there, wait for him to pop.

Easily solod lvl 38 lock, just make sure you get rid of those ensnare totems from his two seers quick cuz Gan'zulah hits you hard and you cant win alone with your VW continuiously ensnared.

I killed Nezzi and couldn't find Gan. Sure enough, he spawned in the same courtyard further back, but it was like half an hour later. This is annoying at best, and infuriating if you're impatient (like me). So just be prepared for that. Kill Nezzi then go kill some time. Try fishing.

Other than that one annoyance, solo as a Rogue is easy as pie (level 38), just stealth in and avoid having to fight all the henchmen along the way, though I guess that advice isn't very useful to non-rogues.

Why have them both spawn in the same spot? It's a big place and would be more challenging if they showed up in 2 different places.

Anyway, I entered from the beack side, sneaked around with only minimal kills, then killed Gan'zulah without a whole lot of effort. Only one of the witch doctors showed up.

I waited and waited, cleared out the area quite a bit, then Gan'zulah spawned again. I decided to kill him in hopes Nezzliok would spawn this time, but they ended up killing me (I know, they're only level 38 & 41, but I got distracted by the totems!).

I looked both up and sure enough, they're both listed to spawn at 23,8 & 23,9.

I guess I'll try again later on when they are all gray to me.

Other wise easy kill at 39. Voidwalker at him then shadow bolted to death, hell fire on the two dr's when they got to me the void walker took over and I drained them to death

I killed Nezzliok, but there's no Gan'zula. I waited for a good 30 minutes, and he wasn't there.

By the way. I killed Nezzliok by pulling him, he had two buddies come along, it was easy enough, then some other bloodscalps started respawning, so i just died, rezed in the water, where it's safe, and looted for the head. I'm a 39 Tauren Druid, and let me say, this is a challenge! The trolls respawn very quickly, so it's a good idea to have a friend or two with you, that way you can make the kills and get out of there before they respawn!

Classic.

Did this as 39 lock and cheezed it.

Found both in the upstairs courtyard coordinates others gave. Both were spawned and surrounded by other trolls. Complete nightmare as pulling one pulls 3 others every time.

Died a couple times then got a bright idea.

Picked Nezz first, popped amplify curse, tagged him with curse of agony and then all other DOT and used drain life to burn him down and loot before getting stomped by 5 other troll adds while running towards the pool in the back where Ganz is located. DIED

Came back and positioned myself in the pool away from everything and rezzed. Was able to pull one caster away without aggroing anything and burn him down. Tried to pull second troll and nope it pulled Ganz. So quick hit the amplify curse, apply DOTS and then fear. Burned down one of the guards until Ganz came back with 6 other trolls (le sigh) but had just enough time to kill him and loot before getting destroyed again.

Rez at graveyard and give finger to this troll infestation. Quest complete.

We must know the truth, and I fear that only the Bloodscalp chief and his witchdoctor know it. They are the enemies of the Darkspear tribe and will not speak freely, so we must force the truth from their dead lips!

Bring me the heads of Gan'zulah and Nezzliok the Dire and place them within this cauldron.

They are deep within Zul'Kunda. Bring their heads...we will then make them talk.
