Welcome, young Tauren, to the first step in the vast plains of Mulgore and Azeroth beyond! I've paused to just post a small list of quests you should be sure to pick up before venturing into the Brambleblade Ravine area...

- Rite of Strength: Collect the belts off of the Quillboars inside the ravine. (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=757)

- The Battleboars: Kill these piggies in the clearing in front of the ravine for their meat and snouts. (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=780)

** Attack on Camp Narache: For an extra quest, head up the path going right . Kill the boars inside and click on the map on the cave floor to begin the quest. (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=781)

* Shaman: The Quillboar shaman within provide the salve you need for your Call of Earth quest. (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=1519)

My post is quite vague, but it's merely a set of guidelines. Feel free to act as you wish. After all, I am not you, you are you! Have fun, and may you have the Earthmother's blessing.

Having never quested in Mulgore (first Tauren), I had no idea how to get back out of the ravine and had to wait out the remaining 13 minutes on my hearthstone. So it might be a good idea to go in with a cool hearthstone, just in case you find yourself unable to find the way out like I did.

when you go thru the cave (you have to) just follow the path lit by torches it will lead you to 2 huts one big one small he is inside the big one

tip - he is surrounded by 2 quills and a shammy

pull each quill seperately walk in to the left he will attack you and kill then kill the shammy

He's in a huge tent in the northeastern side of the ravine. Tough to miss.

Hi. My name's Kaydaa, and I usually play Alliance on Argent Dawn, but decided to make a Tauren for fun.
In the following, I will describe in detail how to find Sharptusk and other helpful hints. Good luck! :)

Alright. So you've gotten the quest? Now, here's what you do:
1. Head to the Brambleblade Ravine, which, on your map, is in the lower right-hand corner. Find the cave-like enterance, which leads to a clearing with pigs and humanoids. The camp is marked with large, green thorns.
2. You'll see that there's a wall directly opposite you when you walk into the clearing of the Ravine. Killing the enemies along the way, go straight to the wall opposite you.
3. Follow this wall to the first clearing you can go between. Turn to face the opening in the canyon.
4. There will be three paths to choose from here: straight, left and right . Choose straight .
5. After turning a corner, you will see another fork.. this time for right and left . Choose right .
6. Now you should see a clearing with many Quilboar, and on a little hill in front of you, a large tent.
7. Clear the Quilboar outside the tent, then proceed inside to kill Sharptusk for your reward!

Now, that wasn't so bad, was it? Okay, time for a few "Extra Tips"...

1. When you get to step 6 and see the final clearing and Sharptusk's tent, there's a path going right up to a cave. It's not an exit, as I thought, but if you clear all the people inside, there's a map on the cave's floor that begins a quest.
2. The large green thorns can be climbed on for quick mana/health breaks.. however, I wouldn't suggest AFKing here, because enemies can climb them too.

The best thing to do is run around and where you usually talk and say things type in /target chief and eventuall you should find him.

The chief sharptusk is it this big hut in the center of a village of them piggy things :)

make sure you have the accompanying quest for this so that while clearing to the chief you can get the belts

i kill the chief many times but i dont see to get his head?
and dont be shy just post if you have any suggestion but yes ive started the quest and yes i killed him without help of other guys

there is a map in a cave-lookin thing.
go get it.
its almost directly south of the tent that sharptusk is in.

but there are a few people in there. there is a lvl 5, and 2 guards.
this map start a quest. al you have to do is give it to Chief Hawkwind at the camp you came from.

just thought you might want to get some exra money and exp

it was really simple to find. all you have to do is go to the NE corner of the ravine and look for a tent that looks like it is built into the ground.

FINISH THE WATER CARRYING QUEST BEFORE YOU DO THIS!

As one of the posters above said, there is a quest to get belts from the quillboars... Made me run around quite a bit!

i'd suggest having a partner with you while doing this quest. there's LOTS of guys guarding the tent and they're all pretty close together, and they spawn QUICK! I seriously was standing in one spot outside the tent, drawing baddies and I had a pile of corpses at my feet by the time i was done. and 2 guys respawned around me while I was fighting the chief. I grabbed his head and ran, and I ALMOST made it out alive, but not quite. Definitely a great quest for xp cuz theres so much grinding involved.

Just follow the torches to the biggest tent, kill him, then follow the torches out again. Obviously, you have ugly little problems between but..... hey, that's life in WOW.

I have been running around that ravine mostly to the east in it like the quest giver said.

There is a shaman that spawns in a hut that I thought was the makeshift village. Still no joy anyone have any info?

Someone give ctmod/cosmos locs, a screenshot, something? I've been around every turn in that area twice, yes Ive looked at the silly map too...he is not showing up in there. Please please please someone, help.

Ok after going back again to a place i'd gone thru 5 times previous, he was finally up. Appears he's hard to find because he's dead most of the time. Coords are: 12,42.
He's in a large, round, structure, largest one of its type back there, campfire out front, lil structure next to it. There's usually a grunt and a shaman in there with him. He stands behind the bubbling cauldron inside so it's really hard to see him if you do a fast run by. Good luck!

When i did this quest it took me a while to find Sharptusk. He is in the biggest building in a small group of buildings. It might take a while for him to spawn because there are always a lot of people doing this quest. But once you find him it is not that hard to kill him at all.

When you first go into the cave that enters into the ravine look for some torches there's a line of them you will follow them to a a large clearing that has a ton of boars the will be a large hut in the center gaurded by two of them Chiefy dude will be in there with a shaman and bristleback. he'll be by the cauldron. Hope this helps. :D

We tauren have carved a home out of this land, but not without a cost. The Bristleback quilboars of Brambleblade Ravine, led by Chief Sharptusk Thornmantle, have made our lives difficult with their continued war against us. I charge you to bring me the chief's head!
