This quest opens up access to the Supplies from Darkshire chain, which ultimately ends with Bride of the Embalmer.

This step of the Embalmer chain is optional. It's basically just a breadcrumb to lead you to Abercrombie. "Supplies from Darkshire" should be available even if you don't do it, and once you've completed that quest you won't be able to pick up this one.

wtf no mobs. there is a 35 elite standing right behind his house. can't get near the hermit to finish quest because of this.

there's a little house on the map NW, which is NOT where the hermit is. see the ridge east of the graveyard? go to it and north. it's outside the graveyard, no undead, black widow hatchlings along the way.

The Hermit quest does not require killing or gathering, just moving and talking. To complete this quest go to the bridge between Westfall and Duskwook. On the Duskwood side follow the shore up till you hit water, then run East along the shore until you are north of the cemetary. The hermit is NE of the cemetary in a very tiny shack. There are no monsters close to the hermit. You can complete this quest without fighting anything if you move carefully.

Hi, I just joined thotbot, this is mostly an easy quest, start by finding the hermit to the NE of the Big graveyard, he wants u to go into town and get something for him(I forget what) u get it and return to him and next u need to get zombie juice, to do this go to the guy in the inn and he'll tell u to get some type of mushroomm. They're found in skeletal fiends and horrors heads. Once u get the mushrooms return to the guy in the inn and he'll make the juice( Where he drops the hint it strong enough to raise the dead) u take the juice to the hermit, he thanks u and makes a few "slip of the tongues". The u need to get goul ribs, u get those by killig (suprise suprise) gouls such as plague spreaders and bone chewers. Once u get back to him with these he makes the excuse that he needs them as barricades. After that he tells u to go get a box of something that the ogres have. They're cave is located to the SE, next to the road leading to Stranglethorn Vale. Follow the miniature road until u see a cave off to ur left. U don't need to acctually go into the cave, the box is right next to it. U'll know it's the right box because the description will tell u it smells like dead things. U take it back to him and he makes another "slip of the tongue" or two. Then he give u a note to take to the mayor of Darkshire. U give it to the mayor and and he tells u to get it translated by the town historian or something. U give it to him, he tells u to wait. Then u take the note back to the mayor who then tells u that u probobly doomed the town. Well, next u have to go kill this undead girl who turns out to b the dead wife of the hermit(who is a necromance) I would advice that u take a little help. U have to kill her, she's like a 33 elite, and here 4 guards, who are like 32 elite or something. Once u've killed her guards she comes back, says literally the junk as before, u kill her again, rip out her heart and then take it back to the mayor for a shield and something else. And that's the quest.

You will have to walk up to the shack and look inside the door to see him.

Ok,

If you know where Sven's camp is, it's on the same horizontal line as that.

If you don't, u have to travel to the top of the cemetery, preferrably on the outside of it, to the right so as not to be attacked. There's a little house on the map, top of cemetery, close to river side, you should see the yellow dot, it's to the right of there...

He's literally in a shack.. not a house or barn. But a small hut type building NE of Raven Hill Cemetary. Loc 28,31 just north of some cliffs.. Can skirt the outside of the cemetary and not get any aggro easily.

I did this today as a lvl 18 Mage. You can access him the easiest without MOBs by swimming in the river then running to him. The only thing in that area is a wolf.

She gave me two other quests, but not The Hermit.

Make sure not to pick up any quests from Abercrombie prior to this. It seems like when you do so, this quest becomes obsolete.

I've tested this on an alt, picked up the quest and tried to share it with someone who also wasn't able to pick it up anymore. It said the person had completed it, but the script below said it was false.

There was an old man who used to come into town to buy supplies rather frequently, but I haven't seen him for quite some time now. He lives out in a shack overlooking Raven Hill cemetery, if I remember correctly. Perhaps you should go see if something is amiss.
