Something important to notice is the lit version of the torch is not unique so you can stock up and do one run if you can make it in time.

The lit torches have 5 minutes timer - after that they disappear but can be used while in combat which is very good. First I prepared 4 torches but not paying attension to the expire-time I burned only 2 buildings... then have to clear the forge again to light some more but this time I tried to burn the east biulding while in combat - managed and then I just rushed near the baracks and completed the quest with several orcs hitting me but then I just escaped them...
So the lit torches can be used while in combat...

They CAN be used in combat. Just finished the quest now.
They have a slight cast time on them, but interruption did not seem to be an issue.

Even if the Burning Bleeding Hollow Torches don't have a "use" function on them, you simply click on them when you are about 15 yards from the building which you wish to burn.

You have to find Bleeding Hollow Torches from Bleeding hollow peons and go next to the Forge - 69,69- and make them Burning Bleeding Hollow Torches .then you will be able to burn the houses.

as a sub/assasin rogue at 59, this was no challenge :P just vanish if u get aggro while burning, but u can burn all but barracks without aggro. The torches drop from peons all around

When doing the quests in Zeth'gor be warned that a lot of the mobs have paths that they move around. Clearing my way in as a 61 Warlock got quite frustrating because it seemed like every inch of the place was covered by a roaming mob. Before you pull something be sure to check that a mob isn't walking your way.

I can't tell you how many times I was alone with a peon, then when I finished the fight I was fighting 3 other mobs. :/

And yes, the respawn rates are quite high, in combination with patrols it can get very irritating.

this quest is a complete pain in the ass. you cant walk 5 feet without pulling a mob, and the respawns are just not funny. suggest doing it with a friend, pref one who can heal.

By the way, if you are a paladin and you have the torches and you are ganged up on by mobs. Bubbling will make the torches go away.

Ok,heres what you gotta do.First kill blood peon and get a torch.Then go to the forge in the Zethgor with the forge is at left of the entrance.When you have the torch burned you must destroy 4buildings with a (burning) torch.You must burn 2 houses-they are small at the left ant second right of the entrance but little further.Then you must burn a stable-it is where are the wolfes and where is the Worg Master Kruush.Then only left the Barracks-it is the biggest house or something like that.i dont know how to say this but it is the biggest house.And when you burn 4 buildings.Return to NPC and complete the quest.

Note:Every time you burn a building,you have get another torch

This quest is a nightmare for a solo player, but probably quite easy for two players. Soloable as a lv60 Affliction Warlock, but It's worth getting some help just to save on time and frustration. Not WOWs' finest moment, but quite a nice cloak as a reward

You have to be literally right on top of the forge or it will not work. This is not a hard quest and only one torch gets lit at a time. The lit torches have a 5 minute duration on them, so make sure you have the area cleared or easily accessible once you light your torch...

Forge is in the north eastern part of zeth'gor, near the eastern entrance.

In the barracks (the biggest building with the corridors leading you to the centre you need to be slightly to the north of the centre ring to set it on fire.

the torches seem to drop almost 100% of the time. however you can only seem to carry one at a time tho. so maybe get 2/3 of you and just get 1 each and get it done in one pass

Solo'd this as a 58 rogue. The torches do stack up, though i'm not sure if they do or don't when they're lit. I took this slow, waited for my cooldowns before attempting the next part. I didn't die once. You basically sap the peon thats at the forge, you light it, then stealth (it doesn't unlight the torch when you stealth or vanish), get to the building, though i recommend putting the torches on your action bar for quick convenience.

this quest was totally made for a rogue, i had 0 trouble on either part. Just be patient.

This quest is very annoying, i'm 61 and I have died atleast 10 times trying to do this, the respawn time on the orcs in the camp is amazing fast, and those eye things get me tons of aggro. Since I also have to kill every single one on the way to the next target, I keep having to go back to light he next torch..If you are below 62 I would suggest brinning a friend or 2.

I was barely able to solo this as a level 60 Warlock with Felguard. Died about 5-6 times trying.

One thing that did seem to work for me - I was able to work with two lit torches at a time. It seemed to help to have my voidwalker out instead of the felguard and then use sacrifice. Rez, resummon the void, sacrifice again, and try to get back close to the forge to light the next set of torches.

Overall, a huge pain in the neck quest.

torch only has a limited time to it, so if u light more then one at a time, make sure u have a path cleared to each target or u have to go back and relight more torches

this was a horrible quest!. lv 60 hunter but in the end i was able to complete it all. at first i didn't realize that the torches only had a limited time so that made the whole thing that much more difficult, considering there is only one forge to light them at. i was able to get the closest one without dying but then the other 3 i died each time. i lit them all (they do stack) and mounted and ran to each post one at a time. pain in the ass! lol.

As a 61 discipline priest I was having a really hard time with this quest. I managed to burn the hovel nearest to the forge and the stables. It was a constant battle there and back because my crowd control is fear and there's way too many to fear in there. Then I got inspired...

Zeth'gor has a half circle shape. On one end is a fence that is easily jumped at the edge, near the fence is the barracks and a hovel. On the other side is a guarded entryway, and just within is the other hovel and the forge. In the center of all this is the stables (go around the back of the stables for the bounty quest).

The problem with Zeth'gor is there are dozens of patrols and the respawn rate on everything is just ridiculous. So, I rode around the outside of Zeth'gor to the southern entrance near the forge. On the way, I killed peons and collected the torches. I mounted near the helboars and just ran up to the rock wall and fought off whatever I didn't shake off during the ride. From there I fought the few patrols and guards to the forge. I used two buttons, one to light a torch (the torches do stack) and one for a lighted torch.

I shielded, mounted, and rode straight across the camp to the barracks. The lit torch item is instant so it immediately burned. From there I used renew, shield, and fear to get to the northern fence and jump over it. There were plenty of mobs on me, but I made it to safety. Then I did the entire process over again to burn the last hovel.

If you're patient and persistent, you should be able to do this for all four buildings.

I was able to complete this quest without dying. 60, Feral spec. See up thread for locations.

Find the torches from grunts OUTSIDE the camp. There's a couple just south of Spinebreaker Post. Practice Pouncing and stacking your DOT effects on the peons (Mangle, Rake) to fill up your combo bar, but hold off on your Ferocious Bite until the Peons health is almost to the point where he'll run in fear. If you can get the timing down, you should be able to kill it outright with the Bite and avoid adds. Get good at this before you get into the camp! Another trick is to stand up and use Barkskin then Entangling Roots to keep it from running.

Sneak your way to the Forge - be sure to have the torches in your action bar. You can take out the Peons at the Forge without adds, but watch for the floating Eyes and patrols. There are mobs on the hills behind the Forge, and if one should add, you can go Bear and do your thing. If a Peon starts to run, stand up and Moonfire it and I mean NOW! If you aren't killing something or lighting torches, stealth!

As of this posting, lit torches stacked. Put them in your action bar.

Once you have 4 lit torches, hug the hills and sneak your way to each location. There's a "sweet spot" at each one where you can pitch a torch (which throws you into caster form) and make it back to Cat and stealth without being seen. You might have to wait for a mob to wander a bit.

If you stay to the hills as far as you can, there's a low spot in the fence between the Stable and Barracks that you jump if you time it right. I snuck my way into the opening of the barracks (the largest building) and torched it from within without being detected. Sneak your way to the last hovel (sweet spot behind it), and make for the very end of the fence just beyond it. You can jump it. There's a mob there, but he most likely won't see you.

I know you ve seen in other quests ppl saying about fast respawn ... but here it is true ... mobs respawn before the bodies disappear.

You dont have to be in the middle of the buildings to burn them.

My tactic was : make a path to where i want to go ->burn-> mount up->return to forge-> lit next torch
... etc ... to be honest i did it 2 building at a time (5 mins is enough for 2 buildings)

To complete this quest you need to throw the burning torches at Zeth'Gor Buildings.

Step 1: Move along Zeth'Gor to its east part, killing Bleeding Hollow Peon and looting Bleeding Hollow Torches - at least 4 needed.
Step 2: At the weast part of Zeth'Gor camp you should locate the forge and light torches so they turn in Burning Bleeding Hollow Torches.

WARNING --- Burning Bleeding Hollow Torches only exist for 5 minutes, rather dont light up them at once as you may be run out of time trying to burn all building in a single attempt.

Step 3: Locate and burn down the following buildings:

Eastern Hovel is near the forge, easy to locate.
Stable is located to the south, there is also Worg Master Kruush inside.
Western Hovel can be found to the south of the stable.
Barracks is the largest building in the camp, its just east of Barracks and Western Hovel.

Only for people playing in Burning Crusade Classic - As a level 60 Warrior, burned the eastern hovel 4 different times and didn't get credit for it. Double Checked my quest log to make sure it wasn't just Questie bugging out and it wasn't. Reloaded UI and tried again. Still didn't work. Shut down game then disabled all addons and still have not been able to get credit no matter how many times I burn the Eastern Hovel. If I figure out what I'm doing wrong or what the issue was, will update.

Killed dozens of assorted annoying mobs, their respawns, their second cousins, distant relatives and other trash, got the torches activated at the forge, then slogged back through dozens of additional trash mobs to find... the Eastern Hovel? There isn't one. Believe me, I've lived in a hovel when I was in school. No hovels anywhere on the Zeth'Gor property that I could see. There wasn't even a Carvel.

OK, so I got to the stable after killing another 2,734 respawns, addons, bit players, substitutes, all their pets, the Dubuque High School marching band and most of the population of Guadalajara only to find out I had no more activated torches. What the hell? Oh, THEY ONLY LAST FOR FIVE MINUTES!

Moral - read the fine print. My bad.

Conclusion: don't fall into this ridiculous time sink. Maybe if the reward was a private aircraft... Anything less than that would be... is... an insult.
