As a warrior, i just charged in and started the channeling. Not need for attacking it, or killing it. As soon as the channeling is done, the beasty goes green.. Simple!

Was very easy quest. Go to bloodmaul outpost (46,77) and find a wolf. Get him to attack you and start channelling. Once channelling is done, wolf goes green. The easy bit is that as the same time you make one wolf weakened another one should appear right next to it.

Another way (won't stop you from getting attacked) is to just stay near the same wolf the whole time. The Powder wares off after about 30-45 sec and you can just reapply it to the same wolf. Wolf near 45,67 in the middle drew no extra aggro from ogres at any time while I did this.

Just go to Bloodmaul Outpost it's showen on the map when u get there find a wolf and start channeling when its done the wolf becomes green small and it doesent atack

Nearly no fighting required. Sheep the wolf as said above, then use the powder. Easy quest.

the wolfs are @ about 42,74!they do not attack u after the weakened power fades from them and u can use it 5 times to the same wolf!good luck:>

Someone else posted that you can just apply it after it wears off on the same wolf; but you don't even have to wait for it to wear off! simply wait about 5 seconds for an item cooldown and reapply instantly! took me a minute!

Thought I'd point out, you can simply use the powder on the same wolf. One minute for it to wear off, and it'll run back to spawn, as opposed to re-engaging you.

This works through a hunters freeze trap.

Just wait for like a minit and go it aign on the same wolf. very easy.

As a shaman just drop your stoneclaw totem and let the wolf attack it while you use the powder, if you do it right you can manage to take no damage and do the quest quickly.

This quest can be done at the same time as others. Get all 4 quests and then head to the Bloodmaul area. In the process get the discovery of a couple of different towers and the mine.

coords correct; use long distance weapons to call the wolves; u can use th powder more times on the same wolf, let it just return at its normal size! ;)

Even easier at 42,74. three Bloodmaul Dire Wolves in a loose group. a few ogres but all widely spaced. Just agg the wolves and then apply the dust. Best to add it to your bar as it's quicker. As a Mage I just used Ice Barrier but any similar shield will do to prevent harm and the dust casting over about 7 secs.

The beauty here is that after about 30-40 secs the wolves turn back to normal from the shrunken, green state, so you do the five in a few minutes max ;) Easy XP.

For those who have it (druids for sure), using Barkskin does prevent the interruptions in using the powder (and gives you your 20% damage reduction too).

A Dire Situation

Rina Moonspring wants you to take her Diminution Powder and apply it to 5 of the Bloodmaul Dire Wolves, which can be found at Bloodmaul Outpost and in Bloodmaul Ravine. After doing so, return to her at Sylvanaar in the Blade's Edge Mountains.

Descrizione

With their wolf pack reduced, the Horde is looking for replacements. Unfortunately there's another source nearby.

The Bloodmaul ogres in the ravine below to the east keep a strong pack as their own sentries. I hated sending you to kill the Thunderlord wolves, so why don't we do something different this time?

I've derived a magic powder from the dust that naturally falls off the wings of our fey drakes. Sprinkle it on the Bloodmaul dire wolves to make them undesirable to the Horde.
