First thing you want to do is head to the Northeastern part of the Firewing Point, head up the tower, use the translocation orb, and find/kill Sharth Voldoun. He'll drop The Final Code( https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29912 ) which you'll need to activate the mana bomb. Snag this and then head towards the middle of the base. Kill all the warlocks and other mobs guarding the mana bomb, click it, and viola, the bomb is triggered.

At the loc 73, 35 you need to use the Orb on the ledge. That will take you up top, continue up to the left and you'll find him standing there.

He does pretty good damage and heals himself when low.

Sharth is not elite, but has a ton of health. He is definitely soloable, but don't go into the fight expecting him to drop fast.

Leave it to blizzard not to even change the wording when they remove an entire quest that you use to have to do to get this one... never the less this guy was easy solo'ed 64 hunter got lucky with the bomb the area was being cleared for rep so walked right up

Soloed him as a 63 ret paladin. He's immune to Repentance, but Hammer of Justice still works on him. He's a 65 paladin that will heal and has plenty of HP.

I just soloed him right now, got my self prepped up. buzzard bites, inner fire, touch of weakness. and pre-bubbled hehe.

im a 64 shadow spec priest with +382 to shadow dmg.

as 64 lock i had a hard time with him. is his resist higher than normal for most mobs cuz i couldnt get anything to stick on him. ended up having to sacrifice the void and hit him hard with soul fire+shadow bolt+shadow burn before i could do enough damage to him to get past his heal.

Level 63 Priest (shadow), soloed - he seems to be immune to most snare effects, but not blackout. Pretty much a Paladin.

He's a non-elite but has around 10k hp. He heals but small heals.

I had an alliance rogue who was killing all the mobs, probably for the signets, so didn't have to bother killing the locks around the bomb, because they was already dead.

Dying is idd not a problem, as Phate01 explains.

For maximum lol, if you are a priest, drop sharth, stand on top of the nearby golden roof, face the courtyard (the circular thing with blue dots on the minimap), walk off (DONT JUMP FIRST) and levitate. Shield in the air, and cancel levitate right above the bomb, wait a sec for mobs before you hit fear, and immediately use the bomb, then shield and run. Worked for me first time and so fast XD

One REALLY important detail: exploding the mana bomb has a CASTING TIME. SO you can't just fear and use it, fear runs out before you get it off. You have to kill all the mobs around it.

when u done the q tooki yells something about you saved the place and some of the npc´s say a bit too then 1 of them puts out a keg where you can tap some brew from (think its made just for the fun)

When the mana bomb explodes it kills all the warlock mobs that are around it, unfortunately, you will not receive and experience for any of the warlocks killed in this way.

He took a little bit to take down but I'm a lvl 64 rogue - just bash the hell out of him. If you're a BE Mana Tap and Arcane Torrent will be your best friend for this. As well as taping Evasion cause he does hit pretty hard. If you are sub spec (i know this is like a rogues guide) tap preparation midway as well to renew your evasion. Good luck ya'll!

OK, here's how I did this as a lvl 63 Hunter. First, so I wouldn't have to fight everyone in the courtyard, I unequipped everything with durability and ran to the tower. Then I died. I corpse-ran back to the tower, re-equipped everything, killed the elf guarding the translocator, and ported up to the top. There were two mobs there. I couldn't sneak past, so I killed them. I healed my pet and took a health and mana break, then headed up to kill Sharth. I made my pet tank him, keeping Mend Pet ticking away for the whole fight, and kept Viper Sting on him so he couldn't heal himself. I used Feign Death to keep aggro on the pet once or twice. He died after a couple of minutes.

Luckily, when I got back down a mage had already cleared the warlocks from around the bomb, so I just set it off and headed out.

ez quest kill the guy at the top gte the letter thing go down to the bottom (do not jump) and kill the warlock and use the mana thing u can also single pull the warlocks if u interupt there spell

The detonation of the mana bomb was sweet. The blast kills the nearby mobs. It leaves you with a dot -5% on all stats though. But a great ending to the quest chain.

He's really difficult. Warlocks, a tip: do NOT use Voidwalker or Felguard. Once he aggros onto you (Which he will do - believe me), neither tank will be able to pull it off. Instead, use Felhunter.

Now, attack with the Felhunter, but make sure the spell lock ability is turned off. Get him down as quick as you can, using every DPS ability you have (Soul Fire, Shadow Bolt, etc.) as well as keeping dots on him all the time. As soon as you see him start to cast a spell (If you have a mod that tells you what spell, it'll show 'Holy Light' as the spell name) jam ctrl+6 so that Spell Lock goes through.

This will silence him for a few seconds, enough to quickly damage him a bit more before he can attempt to heal himself again.

And before you whine at me, "But what about Drain Mana?", well...dots and Drain Mana is enough to aggro him onto you. Even VW tanking, simply stealing his mana is enough to pull him.

a little note..i died first time doing this quest. if you are about to die, i suggest you jump down the side of the building. that way you'll spare yourself the spirit rez.

If someone has just used the code on the bomb and u have to wait to use yours, do urself a favor and wait longer than it takes the bomb to respawn. Solod the mob last night as a 63 rogue. PRetty tuff fight. Some one had just completed the quest. when the bomb respawned, the lil gear thing was not there when i moused over the bomb, but u could still click the item and then click on the bomb. However, item was destroyed AND no quest completion. sux arse.

He has an ass ton of health and he starts to heal himself once he drops dangeroysly low. The heal is not the end of the world however, since it only brings back around 20%. But needless to say - stop him from doing that and he's all yours.

Ok I did this solo MM Hunter lvl 64.

The entrance to the tall spire is 73,36 (there is also escort quest to get in there) there are about 4 npcs once you go in that you need to kill( or bypass whichever you prefer)..one more patrolling on the ramp.
Once you kill all them go up the ramp and out on the little terrace where there will be one more npc and a orb of translocation.
Use the orb of translocation and it will bring you up (not all the way to Sharth) there is only one npc once you get there, she wont aggro you till you attack her. So don't worry about getting attacked after using the orb of translocation.
Follow the ramp up and around.
Now when I got there just Kath was there, but there was a few dead npcs bodies there so possibly 2-4 npcs up there plus Kath.
He is not elite level 65 main thing is that he heals...so if you stop him in mid heal no problem. Loot the final code off of him and use the orb of translocation down. It will take you back to the entrance.

The mana bomb it in the center of firewing point. Need to kill some npc warlocks to get to the bomb. If you have patience for it solo is fine, but if you want super fast get a group.
Click on the mana bomb and it will do a countdown(5,4,3,2,1) till it goes off. Doesnt do anything serious if you stay in range when the bomb goes off (reduces stats by 5% for like 60 secs and goes away)

if you are going to die on the mob who drops the code jump off the tower. started battle at 75% and died. could not rez. spirt rezing as a warrior just after you buy you epic mount sucks. down to 48 silver now. THANKS blizzard.

I soloed this as a 65 rogue. I died the first time and threw on some extra potions and then did it using a health pot.

The guy is at the top of the tallest spire. You need to use the orb of translocation in that building to get there. Once you get to the top, don't get too antsy... there's a level 70 elite that talks to him. He'll port himself out when they're done talking.. after that, have fun!

killing the guy in the tower was easy

to activate bomb kill one set of warlocks that are in the outer circle
now use bow to pull warlocks casting on bomb away one at a time
sap the last one and just set the bomb off

I found that clearing the mobs around the bomb was difficult (feral druid). The warlocks' shadow attacks took out a lot. Fortunately, someone else was working the same quest, so he had cleared some of the warlocks.

Suggestion: keep an open escape route.

The mob that drops the final code is at 73,35. you need to use the teleporting becons to get up there. He's lvl 64/65.

cords are good..soloed with a 64 feral druid. not alot of problems. only thing was those suckers run and agro another so there was a chain of like 6 mobs in a row. but once the bomb were clear, no prob..

I didn't go through the little "compound". before entering through the litte "gateway" where the circle is I turned north and made my way around to the entrance, avoiding lots of mobs.
Kill your way to the translocator orb. Kill your way up the ramp. Stop just short of the ramp and let the elite and the dude finish talking. The Elite disappears. I used my water elemental and frost nova on the boss guy and had no trouble whatsoever. He heals himself a lot...but wasn't a big deal for me. Translocate back down, clear the warlocks around the bomb in the center, and set 'er off!

I had a problem with this, The firewing defender next to the Orb of Translocation was instantly respawning on me. I couldn't use the orb because I was in combat

The quest seems to be bugged now on the Misha server. I blew the place up and went back to the quest giver; however, now she won't talk to me - no ? mark. This is the second quest that I have had this happen in. Wonder what is wrong?
Last time I sent in a petition and the GM said all was well and to dunp the other quest and start over. What a pain.

63 Blood Elf Paladin. Simple fight... No potions used or anything. He just has a lot of HP, so if you can stun him on those heals or mana burn him, he isn't that bad. This is one of the better quest chains that the Outlands has offered me so far.

ok, u got up to him, u attack him like all other mobs, pick the codes off his body and use the translocate orb. the walk to the center of the glowing floor and click the mana bomb.

if u can't kill him as a level 64 warlock, even using void. then..respec, u did something wrong :P

To complete this quest you need to use the The Final Code to set off the Mana Bomb.

Make your way back to the Firewing Point location. Go to the northeastern part area, there is a large tower you need to search. Get to the upper floor and use Orb of Translocation.
After getting to the top kill Sharth Voldoun and loot The Final Code. Now head the center of the location/ wipe out mobs if needed and click to the Mana Bomb to set it.

Immune to gouge. Also, don't die as you cannot get back to your corpse, due to needing to engage with the Orb of Translocation. I had him down to a about one hundred health before dying. Now I'm trying to find the spirit healer to rez with rez sickness. :(

- Go to Firewing Point
- Go to the tallest tower in the back (where the escort cage quest is)
- Go up the walkway to the balcony and use the translocater
- Proceed up the left spiral path, get some short lore bore and kill Voldoun
- Translocate back down and use code in the middle of the village

As of July 21st, 2022, if you die while on the upper platform you either need to take rez sickness, or have someone rez you. The teleport orb cannot be interacted with while dead. If you know you're going to die, just jump off the tower.

Sergeant Chawni wants you to use the Final Code Sheet to set off the Mana Bomb. Then report back to Tooki at Stonebreaker Hold in Terokkar Forest.

They're building a second mana bomb in the courtyard. My intel suggests that the final code for the bomb is being held by Sharth Voldoun, the overseer of the project at Firewing Point.

<name>, you have to go back in there and retrieve the final code from him. He keeps himself to the top of the highest spire.

Take the final code to the mana bomb that they're working on in the central courtyard and set it off.

Only then will we be certain that Stonebreaker Hold is safe.
