When looted, this herb applied a buff or a debuff on you which increases or decreases a stat by 50 for 15 minutes.

When picking this herb let it eat the glowing fly and bulge in size, when it is done the eating animation click on it to harvest it and you will get a buff and not a debuff if you finish harvesting before another glow fly appears. This is important for gathering while grinding/leveling.

Getting up close and watching these things is actually pretty amusing. A small sparkle will drift in front of its 'face', the plant will begin tracking it, and when that sparkle drifts close enough, the plant snaps it up.

I guess im lucky then, every single time I've picked it it has given me a positive Buff, never a debuff

It gives a random debuff or buff. It has been both increased and decreased stamina, spirit, agility and strength for me so far :)

They changed it to no longer debuff a few patches ago that is why you arent seeing it.

when you pick this you get a 15 minute debuff, agility decreased by 50. Luckily I'm a warlock so it doesnt affect me.
