Stormheim Legion Zone Spotlight - Storm Dragons, Helheim, Toys, Vrykul Quests, Spoilers

Stromheim
just opened up on the Legion servers, and similar to our Highmountain preview, we're taking a closer look at interesting things we've found.

Storm Dragons
The alpha build that enabled Stormheim questing also added new Storm Dragon models to the game. Previously, you could explore Stormheim but the dragons were placeholder checkered cubes.

And here are pictures of the Storm Dragon in action in Stormheim! Really adds a lot to the atmosphere.
Treasures and Toys
Stormheim has an interesting mechanic to reach some treasures--a Grappling Hook. Click on the various hooks to traverse broken bridges, high cliffs, and more. You'll get the Grappling Hook fairly early on in questling and it's a fun way to explore.
Here are some of the fun items from chests and questing:
: Shake well, open, and ride the wave! Only usable in the Broken Isles. (10 Min Cooldown)

In addition, treasures are a great way to get gear as well as items that grant Artifact Power.
Battle Pets

Draghetto Tempestoso
is from a Stormheim quest, according to the Battle Pet journal, but the quest is not yet implemented. This whelp appears to have a brand-new updated whelpling model!

Alliance and Horde Conflict
This next part is under a spoiler button as it is more serious than the rest. It involves Genn Greymane and Sylvanas--below we've got their new updated models in Legion, but you'll need to look at the spoiler section for related quests.

The main conflict in this zone is between Greymane and Sylvanas. Along the way, you learn about Vrykul lore to uncover more of Sylvanas' motivations in the zone--it looks like she wants to create more Val'kyr.
This quest series listed below covers the final quests in the zone, after you initially reach Stormheim, have Nathanos Blightcaller and Genn Greymane dramatically interact, and then prove yourself to the Vrykul. If you would like to see that Vrykul questline, please look at Quick Facts on

This area is the underworld for the dishonorable Cursed Spirits in Vrykul lore. It's a
dungeon in Legion
, but also an area you temporarily quest in.
In this area, you undergo trials to win back your way from the underworld.
