. This required hundreds of hours of work and coordination as players scoured the continent for clues related to each zone.
You'll have to hunt down pages across Azeroth in a certain order, the clues of which are inspired by the
cosmology chart
from
World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume 1
. The initial page numbers even spell out the ISBN of the book: 9781616558451.
Muffinus Tweets
Muffinus loves to create content puzzles for players to solve, and joined in on the fun with tweets and hints. At points he made comments about hints, updated his Twitter background to reference popular mount theories such as AQ and pebbles, and cheered players on when they reached new discoveries.
Throughout Legion, Blizzard has enjoyed creating secrets that are not totally solvable through datamining or individual sleuthing on the PTR. This technology doesn't just extend to elaborate puzzles like this mount; other examples include the latter quests for

's abilities hotfixed in several weeks after the BlizzCon announcement, and some
hidden appearances
only showing their initial quests in databases.
With regards to this puzzle, the pages only appeared in the database after players interacted with them. So it was totally up to coordinated sleuthing that this mystery could be solved!
The real secret is now...who is Muffinus in the Secret Finding Discord? On a more serious note, there are still a few mystery items left in Legion including the purpose of
