If you’re attending BlizzCon, be sure to stop by the Darkmoon Faire (Hall A) anytime throughout the show. For community managers, this is our forward operating base, and we look forward to chatting with all faire goers. Many attractions and activities are at your disposal there!

Blizzard developers and influential members of the community will also be hanging out at the Darkmoon Faire. And, if you’re a World of Warcraft fan, we especially want to welcome you to join us at the Community Amphitheater to meet developers at the following times:

Friday, November 6, 2:45 p.m.

Scott Johnson, host of The Instance Podcast, will be kicking off casual conversation with lead narrative designer Dave Kosak and lead quest designer Craig Amai about how the rich fantasy of the Warcraft universe informs their design approach to Legion, from quest flow to artifact weapons and beyond. Additional WoW designers will be on-hand and anxious to join the discussion!

You can use the LFD tool in game to queue right into your dungeon.

You can queue with a full party of five, or if you have fewer members the tool will fill the party for you.

To Solo Queue for Warlords Heroics, you must obtain Silver Proving Grounds. Learn how to complete Proving Grounds with our guide.

You can complete achievements in Heroic mode, working towards Gloria dell'eroe di Draenor which awards Cinghiale da Guerra delle Pianure Gelide

You can complete the quests you have for toys, pets, gear and more from your Locanda di Calaluna / Taverna di Rocciafredda Livello 3 while you are queing this weekend. You can see a full list of rewards here. This weekend is a great time to get through your old Inn quests for Fermati un attimo e ascolta, which awards a Level 3 Inn and unlocks Treasure Missions.

Mythic Dungeons

Mythic Dungeons were a difficulty added in Patch 6.2.

These dungeons drop epic loot, ilvl 685 (ilvl 705 when Warforged.) Click here for a full list of loot.

Mythic Dungeons are a step up in difficulty from Heroic dungeons and require some coordination.

You cannot queue for Mythic Dungeons through LFD, you must form a party of 5 and enter at the dungeon entrance. Our strategy guides and database pages list where the entrances are for each dungeon.

Mythic Dungeons mirror Challenge Mode mechanics--this is a great way to practice the encounters without the constraints of scaled-down gear.

Mythic Dungeon Changes in 6.2.3

Valor: With the new Punti Valore system coming in 6.2.3, you can use these Draenor Dugeon weekends to earn valor: Completing your first Heroic of the day awards Punti Valore, as well as any Mythic dungeons completed.

Mythic Dungeon Loot: Mythic Dungeons now have a chance to award items ranging from item level 685 to 725 in 5-item-level increments.

Mythic Dungeon bosses now also have a chance to drop a new Heirloom Trinket that will scale up to level 110.

The movie will have unique enjoyment for Wow fans since there are Easter Eggs, etc. throughout the movie.

Were able to handle extra scrutiny from Wow fans because we worked closely with Blizzard and a bunch of us play.

Presenting at BlizzCon vs. ComicCon? BlizzCon is our "hardcore crowd", so there are higher expectations than ComicCon.

There used to be a stigma attached to comic book movies and now look at them - hopefully Warcraft helps break the video game movie curse but for Jones, source is not a sticking point.

Is the film "done-done"? Yes.
