Great spoof, you get it from fishing. I wouldn't try to farm for it, because to be honest it drops about 1 in 2000 tries or something ridiculous like that, but if you have that much freetime on your hands why not!

I once fished one up when fishing in Westfall. I think it doesn't really matter where you fish, really.

Also, I fish quite a bit and only got it once. So it's like farming for a world drop. Don't fish trying to get it.

For even more fun I think blizzard should make it add 1 to everything INCLUDING combat ratings as well as making you invisible while wearing it. To balance this, they could have random spawns of wraith-lords attack you if you wear it for a while and eventually you lose control of your character completely as he gives in to the urge to go hide in a cave and eat raw fish.

it should so have an invisibility buff, but if you leave it on too long, elite level 70 ghosts should come on horses and attack you, and you cant kill them with anything except fire spells or holy spells or something. that would be cool

You know how each time you use the chained essance of Erakinus or something like that it whispers you in the chat log? well, the 1 ring should have a use that turns you invis. for like 1 minute and it has a 10min cooldown, and it forces you to say something, probably like

Thankfully I mentioned it to a guild member I was chatting with and he told me that it was rare so I should research the price before putting it in the AH. (If he didn't tell me that I probably would have disenchanted it and then killed myself later.)

i fished this up in thunder bluff the other day while playing an alt on firetree. shame it didn't drop for my main on azgalor :'(

fishing skill was around 25-50 +25 with lure, found it after about 10 minutes fishing.

blizzard should make the 2,3,4,5 and 6 ring, with +2,3,4,5 and 6 to each stat for each ring, and the rings need the number plus a zero to wear, just like the 2, ring needs lvl 20, 3 ring needs lvl30 and so it keeps on!

2nd fishing attempt ever for me and to my surprise I'm Frodo Baggins! I tried to trade it over the city trade channels but when people figured out I wanted 100 gold for it they laughed at me. I don't blame them that's a ridiculous price for an item with stats like that, but I'll trust allakhazam and put it on auction and see what happens.

it shows high selling price as 5000 gold, fine

it shows the _LOW_ selling price as 72,738 gold.

so ye sthe pricing index is fubar'd

i've seen a couple of other weird entries lately like this, making it difficult to trust the pricing index.

lol spent only about 5 mins fishing and caught it someone else had been there an hour and wanted it bad but would only offer 1g. in ah now for 15g/20g i hope it sells it will be the most money i ever have. also the reason its so expensive is because the stats are awsome for a lvl 10 ring so twinks will be after it. i know you can get +2's and even +3's on rings at lvl 19 but the +3's are hard to find and the 1 ring has alot more variety to offer. +1 in 5 skills or +2/+3 in one skill?

So from the information gathered here: This is a fishing "loot" that can be fished from any lake, stream or whatever where players with 1 fishing can fish. It will have nothing to do with your fishing skill or any other things.

Even though the prices for like 100 G or something for this are crazy as hell (Ive seen rings just like this, except like... +5 in every stat or something) It is pretty good, for low leveled people, when they dont have much money and the cheapest rings only offer intellegence, and sell for like 5 G +.

Just as an update, these rings are currently in the Feathermoon Alliance AH for 227 gp! Which is really sad when you consider my enchanter can give you +3 to all stats on chest for much less then that.

Anyone that wants to spend 227 for +1 to all stats can give me the gold and I'll put +3 on your chest armor, how about that?
