After testing this sword for quite a while, here's what I've found:

Troll Rogue, level 42-44

Basis -
MH: Shortsword of Vengeance, enchanted with Crusader.
OH: Sword of Omen, enchanted with Fiery.

I have done tests with Slice and Dice up 100% of the time and tests without S&D.

This sword procs consistently 9.4 times per minute, meaning haste does not affect it (it is not a % chance on hit to proc). This was not a scientific test by any means, but between 9 and 10 PPM makes this sword very valuable for a leveling rogue.

I bought this sword at the AH for 17g (for my 43 rogue.) But after thinking about it (and hearing about the "Bring the Light" quest in Razorfen Downs that yields an awesome 1-handed sword) I decided to sell this sword before ever equipping it. I sold it for 23g at the AH. In my opinion, this is a sweet sword, BUT, there are better swords around this level and a little higher that are better worth the investment. I'd skip this and sell it if you find it.

It looks horrible, soo small, its proc is so bad, and since it's only 20 dm it's pretty much useless... You'll get higher dps from the vanquishers sword from RFD... and that sword looks sweet... use that till the thrash blade

Hi there are there any pallys out there that use this ? i was wondering if the holy dmg when procs would be usefull when tanking in conjunction with the seal of fury to generate more aggro.

Crusader judgement does not affect the holy damage proc on this weapon. Also it seems to have a low proc rate, like 5% or less.

I have a 43 warrior it looks really wanky but its a great sword and when you are casting your sword does the smite thing it looks like your casting a spell

Proc melee weapons are horrible for hunters, how long will it take for you people to learn...

Melee hunters are crap, you should be doing 90% or more of your dps from ranged attacks.

Slow weapons are probably the best way to go for hunters, but sometimes dual wielding can yield better stats. It just depends what you can get.

Got this drop off of a Jade Ooze while farming. Very nice looking sword but I'm a bit too high for it. I sold it in the AH for 50G. Sold in about 8 hours. This was in The Hinterlands where it seems this drops most of the time. Good Luck.

I just got this for my rogue today, enchanted it with fiery, as I have done most of my weapons...

The proc on the holy damage while using it as a MH weapon for my rogue is pretty damn good imo

Went off several times per fight, very handy to have dual wield weapons with bonus damage + fiery + poisons

i had this sword for about 3 days. i actually payed gold for it at the AH. its not that great. dont waste money or time looking for it. much better weaponry out there. The Shatterer is much better with the same exact stats cept it has a much better passive effect with the disarm.

I bought this at the Ah for 5g yesterday... yes 5 GOLD lol what a deal so i am DWing this and the "THE BLACK MENECE" from the SM quest and its a pretty good combo if you are looking for DPS at lvl 42 :P lol
