Hordies, this is vendortrash or possibly petfood for hunters. The only recipe it's used for, Westfall Stew, https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=728 , is practically impossible to learn Hordeside (it's an Alliance-only quest reward).

In fact, this doesn't appear to be edible by non-BC pets -- it doesn't fit into the categories Bread, Cheese, Fish, Fruit, Fungus, or Meat. (since my bear won't take it.) The only categories it might fit into are "Raw Meat" or "Raw Fish"; so try feeding it to your Dragonhawk, Serpent, etc and seeing if they take it.

The cat I tamed in Ghostlands (BE area) did not take this.

And for Drainei in low level area, it's also vendor trash, because taking receipe uses too much time and there are another receipes who give the same buff too. Why travel to Westfall? Level up first in your area.

The Murloc Coastrunners also drop these... NW corner in Longshore in Westfall.

LvL 25 elites drop this... and the only use is in making a lvl 5 food (that is intended to be alliance only). Bliz is weird...

You get an absolute smattering of these if you grind on basically any murloc.

two ways for Horde to use the Murloc Eye item:

1. Corpsehop into SW and buy it off a vendor (not even sure that'd work).

2. Get the recipe off a neutral AH after an Alli player has put it up.

Murloc Eye can be used for only one cook recipe you can get at Red Ridge Mountains.

To bad all the hordies to busy crying instead of given out the basic info most want to know.

Vendor trash for Alliance AND Horde at 16 Copper each. The Westfall Stew recipe requires it but takes 3 different items. The Alliance only Quest-Westfall Stew-requires 3 Murloc eye. Vendor or toss.

Pets also wont eat this, tried to feed it to my lvl 25 boar and wouldn't take it. But I could feed him other lvl 1 stuff like apple or spooder legs, so not an issue of out lvling it I don't think.
