Shamans use this to set their fire totems... you have to keep it in your bags for it to work.
Can get quest at lvl 10 and can be beaten at lvl 10 but is sorta hard until you get to about lvl 12-13.
Second totem shamans can get.

No, you cant. i think it says "You cannot destroy that item"

Totems are used by shamans to power some of their magic. If you're not a shaman, you have no use for the totems

If you can't use the totem you should be able to sell it at the auction house. If you're a shaman it's one of yourr spells.

I was hoping to find a post on how to get this Alliance. I have my earth totem but I am now lvl 13 and just finished the Call of Fire quest and did not get a totem.
Can someone for the alliance who has this plz tell me who and where I get this quest.

Sure enough. I was attacked by a stealthed BE right when I turned in the quest and didn't see Temper had another part...long run back to him but that continued the chain a few steps and ended up in Exodar where I got the searing totem and fire totem.

You need to Talk to Temper, the fire elemental on the North East part of Azuremyst Isle where the fire elementals are all at. Then follow from there. 8)

the exclamation mark is kinda hard to see because hes big and has a lot of flames around him so dont miss it.

i had a problem of finding the quest then i went back to the 70 eliet fire elemental he gave me a quest to go to Azure watch and it was simple from there

Hello,

I'm a lvl 34 and somehow have missed this quest :/
I have all the other totems but not fire.....

I have been to see the bloke about the quest but he doesn't have anything to give me. Even tried to click on him to see if its just because i was to high level to see his ! on his head.

Is there other quests I should do first?

Once you accept the Fire Totem quest you will recive a red bag in your inventory. This bag contains the ritual torch and a port that will take you back to Temper (the quest giver).

okay i am lvl 31 have been everywhere to find this quest and i cant seem to be able to get it and do it, ive been to azuremyst, the ex, and there isnt a quest available at any of the trainers and i really need this totem. what should i do?
p.s. it seems that a lot of ppl hae had thesame problem, did anyone figure it out?

The quest for the fire totem starts from Temper on Azuremyst Isle in Emberglade (59, 18) and continues in Azure Watch and Exodar. Thottbot will tell you it starts at Prophet Velen, but you have to get it from Temper first. It's a level 10 quest called Call Of Fire

Guys, very important.

First step to get fire totem is to get the quest Call of fire from Shaman trainer, called Tuluun, at 48,50. After this u go to Temper, the fire elemental.

After you give the ashes to the big Fire Guy. Right click him again and he'll give you another quest to take the ashes to Azure Watch and the Shaman there will send you to the guy in Exodar and he will give you your fire totem. Very confusing when you don't know you have to get the ashes back

NOTE: Temper does NOT have an exclamation mark after turning in
Hauteur's Ashes even if you wait. Click anyway and he will send you
back to Azure Watch to complete.

You get the quest in Exodar (i think) and if you loose it, you can get it back at an trainer.

Yes, you get the quest in exodar from a shaman trainer in The crystal hall. He or she will tell you to go talk to the big flame elemental guy in Emberglade. The quest is called "call of fire" I believe. The flame elemental will send you on a chain of quests to get it. Be sure after you turn the ashes into him from one of his quests, talk to him again. The exclamation point will not be above his head.

I started on this quest at level 10 and decided to gain a few levels before going back to it. Now I discover it's vanished from my quest list, is there any way to re-start this quest, or am I stuck with a level 15 Shaman with little hope of getting a Fire Totem?

these totems are given to the shamans as a result of a quest, first one is from quest call of earth level 4 to attain given by Seer Ravenfeather in mulgore you recieve-stoneskin, and earthbind totem, next is call of fire witch is level 10 given by kranal fiss in durotar recieve-searing totem, fire nova totem, and level 20 you get the quest call of water forget where it starts witch is for water totem-healing stream and dont know what others not that far yet havnt finished the call of water quest yet hope that helps

I can learn the spell Fire totem without even having the quest for being able to use it, I find that funny.
Btw I dont understand how to get the quest for being able to use this totem... Allkhazam says it's a questchain, now I've run all the way to Durator and the first quest giver wont give me the quest. Funny

Alliance side - if you think you "completed" the Call of Fire quest but didn't get the fire totem then you need to return to Temper in Emberglade get the next part of the quest chain.

after you get the "Fire Nova Totem" from Temper - take the follow up quest- the Quest sign is hard to see because Temper is so big. The next part of chain is to go see Velen in Vault of light in The Exodar. He will send you to Nobundo in the Crystal Hall next door - He gives you the item "fire totem" and another fire spell. He will also tell you a story about how he became a shaman.
