This item has a 5 minute cooldown.

5% attack slow -- this probably won't change the tide of a battle, but it helps. And it definately beats the empty trinket slot I had before I got this....

Oh, and one other thing--- It CASTS at range. I haven't tested the absolute pull range, but it is far enough for most ordinary pulls. You can drag the equipped item to make a clickable icon on your hotbar. Big deal? Well, if you're a paladin with no other means of pulling other than walking up and agroing things, this is a very useful item. The cooldown means you can't pull non-stop with it, but it is useful for the occasional more difficult pull.

If a warrior casts THUNDERCLAP it will override this debuff. It does not stack.

It seems to work quite well with Curse of Tounges, slowing down casters even more, but I'm not sure. Can someone confirm?

It only slows Physical attacks, so sadly it wont work make caster, cast spells any slower.

I was lucky enough to get one of these a few weeks ago. I use it often and I can say with 100% certainty that the cooldown is 5 minutes.

Sucks? I would like to see if you could find something better. 5% doesnt look like a lot, but it does its job against those 2handers in pvp. I would say this is preety nifty considering that theresw only like a handful of things out there that can slow ATTACK speed. GL trying to get something better.

Went out looking for this earlier today - killed at least 80-100 and didnt find a single one. I came back a few hours later and got 3 of them plus 2 other nice uncommon weapons with my first 40 or so kills.

These are definatly cool to have, especially when you dont have any other trinkets. Is this the lowest lvl trinket out there i wonder? Also about how much do they sell at the AH? 3g?

I found this trying to get some quest item off the basilisks. It's effect is subtle, but certainly noticeable, and it does indeed seem like the effect is more than 5%, and I agree it is very useful for a pally to pull things with.

The cold eye basalisks are just north of the gurubashi arena in STV, near the camp of lashtail raptors, they are very bright blue and hartd to miss!

everlook ah. there was 14 there at 1g each all by the same guy. i bought them and now selling them cheap aswell on horde ah. seen at 15 - 25g selling at 10g this should help get that epic mount

found three of these in 2 seperate days...
didnt know they were worth so much so i NPC'ed the first one =(. After i found out how much they were worth i went back the other day and found 2, but on my server they go for only like 5g...but oh well its still money =D

This is about the ONLY weapon that lets a pally attack/pull from distance (unless undead). Priceless for pallys !

To the ones having to grind at 100 Basilisk: Jeez - it's has a 1% droprate - u do the math ?

Got one On my 4th kill.
Was unsure what to do with it, as it could help pay for my mount, or I could use it seeing as I have no trinkets. (36 Hunter fyi) I asked my guild and they said to keep it. So I now have it on myslef and its spiffy. :)

I killed hundreds of those damn basilisks for this thing and NEVER got one. I leveled killing them, and ended up giving up after half a day of grinding.

i was grinding and i was killing Cold Eye Basilisk's with a lvl 41 hunter and one of these droped.. so i looked it up here on thottbot and i was amazed it sold for 14g.. so i grinded for another hour and i got another one, so for about 1 hour and 15 min with about 30g and 5 bars of XP (rested) i think its a pretty good deal

The basilisks that drop these were great for grinding -- no accidental aggros, they don't cast anything, and the respawn is perfect. Dropped four of these before I was done (about 200 kills, maybe more). 10g easy on my server. I don't really need these, since I already have Thunder Clap (warrior skill).

Lol its rare i get to use this trinket even though i have it. Usually when i pvp in a bg i have my insignia and talisman of arathor equipped. But whenever i see my opponent is a stealther i equip this. decreasing time between a fast attackers attacks can be useful. usually i see these in AH anywhere from 7g-20g.

god you guys. dont spend hours out there looking for this one trinket. go complete quests.

on my server, azjol-nerub, there is ususally one of these in the auction house. i bought one for 2g. it is much easier buying one for 2g than killing for hours, and then you can get back to grinding or questing.

This thing has quite a range on it. (same as a thrown weapon, 30yds.) I can pull with this instant cast item. Although the cooldown is longer, it ranks with Linkin's boomerang for paladin ranged options.

Fully intend to get this, tidal charm and the Defiler's talisman on my 39 warrior (once he gets there). If this stacks with thunder clap, even better. Either way, it gives you that extra edge, would stick the enemy in combat if nothing else. Assuming this can be used on the move...

WTf... I've killed over a hundred and fifty or so and not a sinlge eye has dropped. Not with any of my characters on various servers. Anyone know any specific place they seem to drop at more often or a certain time?

For every class who can slow attack speed, its crap. even for those who cant its crap, dont waste your "10g" on this. if u find it, try selling it on ah even if u dont have a trinket yet

I used for about 5 maybe 6 levels, then i got Carrot on a stick and a Loffa and a Nifty Stopwatch, So i sold it. It helped a bit, that extra 5% lower may just about save you.

Drop off a basilisk while i killed an ally and stole the kill.

Its ok, def not worth the gold it was going for and ,on some servers, still are.

Ive found these on all of my chars..AH everytime quite a good drop rate too. although i have just killed 3 basilisks and 2 have dropped :S

It is ingame, looted one yesterday for my hunter.. Took about 350 kills and almost grinded from level 40 to lvl 41 just by killing them. Looted 1 rare (Wing of the Whelpling), and several greens before looting the eye itself. They drop insane amounts of grey items that have high a high vendorvalue.

I found a good use for it, myself. Every five minutes, I can actually pull a mob with my Paladin. The range seems to be about 20 yards, twice what judgment is, which is enough to stay out of aggro range and pull.

This is kinda silly for warriors who have thunder clap. But I guess it's usefull if you don't want to waste the rage (which is what I use it for the few times I do use it)

Also - This has quite the range. Alliance vs Horde battle in Duskwood last week I decided to see if it'd work. Used it on some random horde in a group that was out of range of my shotgun. Sure it did nothing but piss him off, though.

Maybe something changed, but I put one of these on the AH for 1g (after putting it up for 15, then 10) and no one bought it. I think it's worthless now, so don't get excited when one drops.

I farmed at least one of these a week until I couldn't get any xp from the mobs anymore. Drop rate wasn't too bad. Usually, the sell price was 25g, but I put a BO of 30g on one once, and it sold for that.

I have no use for it though to be honest.

Found three of those so far, kept one since I had no trinket sold the other two at the AH. Set the buyout at 5G and they sold within an hour - so I guess I should have asked for more - I wouldn't pay 5G for it though, not that great really.

These things rule. I grinded in SV for two hours and got one. Pretty much on the 100th kill. I sold it for 7 g and immediately someone bid on it. I should have went higher.

Seen advertised today on Bloodsail Buccaneers server, asking price 1g (trade chat). Considering it's an early pull trinket as noted in other comments (good for paladins attempting to tank, etc), I'd say 1g is a good price for it in Classic.

Killed about 100 last weekend then finally got one. Got another two kills later. Then today got another 6 kills in. They are good to farm for mount gold!

Strong contender for the worst trinket ever made. You are not going to notice a 5% reduction in attack speed. Factor in the 15 second duration and 5 min cooldown then you are only mitigating a paltry amount of damage. I've always believed that a magic item should have a noticeable effect, and this does not.

Warriors in classic be warned, looted this nice item but it does NOT stack with Thunderclap attack speed slow. You will get the error prompt "A more powerful spell is already active" and be unable to use it if the target is already debuffed with Thunderclap.
