There's a bug currently ingame that causes level 70 players to not be able to get this quest. Also a very usefull sidenote; it'll be fixed next patch (probably when the fest is over!)

You get this by doing the Pink Elekk quest during Brewfest. You need to sap a pink elekk outside Exodar, Stormwind and Darnassus (Alliance) and Silvermoon City, Undercity and Thunderbluff (Horde) to complete the quest =) And you must be drunk to see them, same as with the wolpentinger.

It's bugged for alot of people....some can't get it on their level 70 but not lowbie chars others can get it on the lowbies but no the 70....

I was only able to get this quest after I completed both the Wolpertinger and the Blackrock Depths Bar quest.

70: got the quest after completing the barker quest... got drunk...very very ....hic!...drunk. I see them, I zap them...they disappear.

But I don't get credit for it. Zero credit. I zapped about 5 in Mulgore, hearthed to Shatt, ported to Silvermoon, zapped a few more: no credit. Relog, retry on a different pc: same.

... /sigh....bugged ...

No problems on my end, good procedure with the above poster though for Horde: Fly to Thunder Bluff from Orgrimmar, hearth to Shattrath if you've set your hearthstone to it, port to Silvermoon City, then take the Orb to Undercity and finish there.

Outside each city (below the lifts in TB, in the gardens outside Silvermoon, and in the surface ruins of the UC) is a Brewfest camp. Be either 'drunk' or 'smashed' and you can see the Elekks. There are kegs in each camp so easy to get drunk again if you sobered in your travels. They're everywhere once you can see them.

This quest is a reference to the Disney movie "Dumbo."

In the movie, Dumbo gets hammered and starts to hallucinate, and sees pink elephants on parade.
