I would assume anything that is listed as 'Nature' will get the benefit of this trinket.

As for the shaman clearcasting, this trinket doesn't give you any buffs, it just restores mana. So yes it can proc off of a spell that used clearcasting, effectively giving you 300 mana, as well as being able to proc the same time clearcasting procs.

Healing wave, lesser healing wave, and chain healing are consider to be nature spells..nature swiftness works and thats confirmed long time ago..now we just need a confirmation of a lucky resto shaman who really have this ring

The following numbers are only to be taken into account if you are spamming the spell, but it is to prove how awesome this trinket really is;

Lesser Healing Wave (1.5s) :
40 casts per minute, 6 proccs per minute, 1800 mana restored.
Which equals in mana per 5 sec : 150 mana per 5 sec.

Chain Heal (2.5s) :
24 casts per minute, 3.6 proccs per minute, 1080 mana restored.
Which equals in mana per 5 sec : 90 mana per 5 sec.

(When thinking about chain heal, there is one thing I am not sure about, and that is if 3x heals would count as 3 nature spells or if it would only count as one as in one casted spell. Hopefully someone can answer me on that one.)

Healing Wave (2.5s) :
24 casts per minute, 3.6 proccs per minute, 1080 mana restored.
Which equals in mana per 5 sec : 90 mana per 5 sec.

Lightning Bolt (2s) :
30 casts per minute, 4.5 proccs per minute, 1350 mana restored.
Which equals in mana per 5 sec : 112.5 mana per 5 sec.

(Notice : This is only if chain casting, and should not be taken in account if you are occasionally healing instead of spamhealing.)

In other words -> Extremely overpowered trinket.

If you have 1 proc per minute (I think that's realistic with a 45s cooldown and 15% proc chance) this trinket gives you 25 mp5.

If you look at other class trinkets, this one is seriously lacking. I've sent several feedback messages on the PTR...I just hope they listen, this trinket has such potential.

Best healing trinket in game for shamans once its fixed. Up to 37.2 mp5 assuming good proc rates.

After having performed some tests with this trinket post-2.1 (live) it seems that the 45 second cooldown is in effect. I couldn't make it proc again within 45 seconds after a first proc. It also works on heals.

It does proc off rank 1 Lightning Bolt so I suppose if you have the cost-reducing relic you can spam that for free (whilst maintaing spirit regen) and hope for a proc.

Just picked this up, was at first disappointed by the hidden cool down, but one of the above posters is right. It's about a 30-40mp5 trinket depending on proc's. When it's not on the hidden cool down it procs within the first 2-3 spells from my experience. Overall a pretty awesome trinket.

It also has procced off of Bloodlust, Water Walking, Water Shield, Earth Shield and Ancestral Recall.

i beleive that with chain heal and chain lightning this has a 45% proc rate... after the 45sec CD...

its an amazing trinket... as a raid healer it literally procs ever 50 seconds at the MOST... thats a ton of mana. im very happy with it.

I think this trinket combined with thttps://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29389 would be very nice. Since this would make your rank 2 LB cost 0 mana, keeping you constantly regenerating mana while still dealing (minimum) damage, and giving a chance to proc this trinket. Can you say free mana?

I recently switched to this trinket from the BoP crafted Talasite Owl and have noticed that I run out of mana far less using it. Especially during boss fights, when (as a resto shaman) I spend a good amount of time spamming rank 1 healing waves on the tanks to keep 3 stacks of healing way up on them at all times. I combine this with Scarab of the Infinite Cycle and both proc often enough, given shorter cast-time spells, to be amazing. On fights that are incredibly mana intensive I simply combine this trinket with Talasite Owl and never run out of mana. It also comes in amazingly handy on boss fights as elemental. Great trinket.

Ok to show the max potential of this trinket from our latest Solarian kill:

Duration of the fight = 322 seconds.
Number of procs = 7
Average time between procs = 322/7 = 46seconds.
Average mp5 = 335*7*5/322 = 36.41mp5

That was achieved permacasting chain heal for the entire duration of the fight, and always making sure it would jump.

For comparisons sake the mana restore meta also procced 7 times on that fight, with equivalent to 32.61 mp5.

im guessing this has sumthing to do with morogrim due to the tidewalker refrence. But more importantly i want to know is this a straight drop, or a quest, or even a token-like turn in? I ask since it is shaman only, and i have seen the mage only one also. BTW, OMFG I lust for this! With this and the new CC i would never go oom

When you spam your nature spells it be something like this
lesser healing wave 1.5cast = 130mp5
healing wave 2.5cast = 90mp5
lighting bolt 2sec cast = 113mp5
Very OP if it is a 15% proc rate

Shamans still have mana limitations compared to other healing and DPS classes. This is a great boon to sustainability.

True how shaman are getting more mana items. This trinket is awsome for a healing/elemental spec shammy.
Elemental got buffed bad with the elemental focus skill allready. This trinket will make sure they stay with the mages/warlocks/shadow priests in damage.
Cant wait to get one.

Ive heard from unreliable sources that this procs from the jumps on chain heal, making it a 45% chance on each chainheal to proc. Can anyone confirm this?

I've a resto shammy with this on Khadgar and yes the proc is right at 15% and the min. 45 sec cooldown. Also it does not proc off of totem drops.

Got this the other night, not really sure what to make of it. If it was a static 27~28mp5 I'd love it, but it's left up to chance. I've been using Fel Reaver's Piston, with 16 mp5, and Tome of Diabolic Remedy, with 18 mp5. I feel like I'd be better off with the constant mp5 trinkets. Some people are telling me no, some are telling me yes. Thoughts?
