If you wanna get the shield and sword ( at 39,53 and 42,58) there will be 2 elite guards guarding the ogers who drop them, just use the bloodmaul brew form the quest: Getting the Bladespire Tanked. To lure them away form the guards.

as a 68 lock, all I did was used one dot to pull Mugdor and the elites didn't attack... not sure if it will work for anyone else, but it worked for me. Very easy! Wish I would have done that with Blade lol.

used the brew to take the two non elite guards and the brew on the targets and they ran through without agroing the elites to the sides

Ive killed him 4 times now still no shield!

I do not exactly know how to get the sheild.... but i got the blade first try do i change the places im in?

I busted my butt as a 69 mage to get the sword. I decided to ease things up on the shield. I just stood in the middle as possible and inched up closely enough to cast. Drew the non-elite guy who drops the shield and killed him. Guards didn't even know what went on. Make sure to kill the 2 non elites before hand.
