They nerfed it so you can't do it through the trade window.

Which means to use this, you need to have BoE pants with an iLevel of 35 or higher and a level 60 to apply it.

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but northern Shadowmoon Valley (back behind Altar of the Sha'tar and Black Temple) is made for farming the mats for this leg armor. The Cobra Scales do have a low drop rate, but there are plenty of wind elementals that drop motes of air and scorpions that drop a ton of leather. It is much easier for me to get primal airs here than it is on the elemental plain where EVERYONE is farming, and I can get my leathers here too. Perfect farming spot while you're grinding for those scales.

If you want to level another character fast, and have a lot of money read further. This leg armor provides 18.57% Crit chance, and well 40 attack power.
40 Attack Power = +2.85 Dps
https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=8179#dropped-by item is the highest dps for a level one (note that quest rewards WILL level you up to 2) the dps being 4. The second highest weapon is a one hand sword providing 2.5 dps. Point is the atp given from this enchant will double your dps.
https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=18329 is another option providing 26% Haste, which might increase your dps more than 2.85. The nethercleft leg armor probably would increase your leveling/twinking at level 1.

Epic version provides: 50 Attack Power, and 12 crit rating ( 22.29% Crit Chance ) and the attack power adds 3.57 dps

So I want to put this enchant on my twinks pants but his pants are BOP is it possible to have a 60 enchant them in the "Will Not Be Traded Box" like you do the libriams or does it have to be a BOE item.

These can go for pretty high, up to 250g on my server. However, the scales can cost anywhere from 50g-75g each, and the primals are 20-25g, so the mats themselves are worth from 180g-250g, so you might not even make a profit unless you farm the mats yourself, in which case you could sell the mats for the same price (sometimes), which anyone could do, not just a LW.

On the other hand, guildies will love you for these. I supply my guildies with these, clefthide leg armor, and nethercleft leg armor for mats and a meager 10-20g on the condition that they use them instead of sell them. I also have a venture with a skinner/miner in my guild where he gets the mats, I make the product, he auctions/sells it, and I get 25% of the profit. I'm just that good.

Slapped this on my 19 twink rogue on a BOE pair of agility pants ( +8 AGI )

Now have 295 attack power unbuffed - 25.18% to crit

dagger spec / agility rogue :]

You can't make no fukin money trying to sell these, there's always some complete IDIOT who has to try to beat you and winds up driving the price down so far it's not even worth getting the mats to sell, not if the friggin LOSERS pay more attention to getting the best price then actually making any profit on an item like this. How STUPID to sell this for like 10 or 20 gold over what it costs to make.

Perenolde auctions are fuked in general any more anyway, too many damn little 10 year old losers who don't know how to market anything...too many stupid scammers too screwing up the prices. If you're making a new character and think you're gonna do any good on auctions, I don't recommend Perenolde realm at all. Not only things like this...I've watched the losers drive the price of herbalism down by FIFTY PERCENT on almost all herbs in the last month and a half...it's just ridiculous these little punks need to be SLAPPED.

Ok lets go through this one more time....This (and Clefthide kits) ARE NOT ENCHANTS, they are armour kits, so NO you CANNOT put them in the 'not to be traded window'. You need a lvl60+ person to apply it to any level pants...THEREFORE you cannot apply these to BoP pants unless you are lvl60+ and using them for yourself...in other words for these to be used for twinks they can only be used on BoE pants.

You CANNOT use these on a BoP twink item in a non tradable window. We just tried doing it on my level 25 rogue's Triprunner Dungarees and the message clearly said that the item must be in your own inventory to do it.

Does anyone know if it's applicable to a lower level item, without changing the level req? Of course you'd need a 60 to apply it, but would it work for a level 49 twink or something similar?

You can purchase this recipie in Honor Hold from the Quartermaster. You must be Honored with honor hold.

It looks like these are going for 130-140g on my server. Each Cobra Scale is about 25g on the AH, Primal's are 20g each. So 50g + 80g. But seems a little overpriced. I can make them Missroth Kilrogg Alliance.

Actually for the leg enchant for twinks, a lvl 60 or higher needs to apply the leg armor. So it isn't possible to attach this to a bop item, aka triprunner dungarees or Scarlet leggings.

no, it has to be a BoE item, the pants must be in a lvl 60+ toons inventory to have the patch applied, just like all armor kits.

This cannot be done through the trade window (I know because we tried this last night), ***you will need to trade the item you want this attached to to someone who is 60+ so they can attach it for you!***

On a side note I got these attached to my devilsaur legggings and I have to say they are awesome! =D

YES! You can put it on your twink's pants, but you need to be level 60 and need to have both the armor kit and your twinks pants in your bag. Then you can apply the armor and send/trade it.

No! You can not put it on your twink's already bound pants, this include through the non-traded window. (that is unless youre 60, but then youre not really a twink are you?)

No! You cannot have it applied through a non-traded window regardless of whether it is bound or not.

Dont think I can be any clearer that that!
