This is the absolute money-maker for mid-level jewelcrafters.
You can easily create up to 3-4 rings per hour if you take a mining trip in Desolace or Arathi Highlands or simply check the Auction House often for some cheap gold.

Undoubtedly the best ring at the level for any caster. Combine it with a lvl28 Warsong Gulch ring (20 marks and a minimal amount of honor) and you'll have a ring combo that should last at least ten levels.

If you can afford one of these, I definately recommend that you buy one.

wow, anyone else noticing that priests must be swimmiing in this plus healing and intellect ring; i mean there are so mcuch more healing and caster rings than melee

I made a bunch (~7) of these while I was levelling my skill, threw them on the AH for 5g bid / 7g buyout and one sold. One! Trouble is, there are usually tons (ok, about a dozen) of these on the AH, driving price and demand waaay down. After about a week (they were sitting in my mailbox), I put one up for 7g buyout and it sold. I found that if I put up one per day it sold. So eventually I sold what I had made. It's a good ring but put anything up on the AH in bulk and it's like saying "this items sucks and I'm trying to unload it".

Indeed great item. But the next day after TBC release there were 20 or more of this rings up for sale on AH so price will not so high with all the competition

Great item... jewelcrafting is the bomb. And the mats cost like 2-3g... this will sell like hotcakes.

Since the tooltip shown here, in the Jewelcrafter's list and any mention at thottbot lacks it, and I can't seem to find it anywhere else but in game, this item has a UNIQUE attribute to it. (you can wear only one)

Is that new or did someone just not bother to list it on both sites?

You'll need to be at 180, but it's trainable from an Master Jewelcrafter (Farii in The Exodar for Alliance - Kalinda in Silvermoon for Horde)

Sold Claw Of The Shadowmancer For 25g and this ring, so off to AH i went and no more than a minute later i got 11g for it, sweet! too easy
