I use this on my shadow priest as a replacement for Bringer of Death. Less spell crit but more intellect and damage when combined with an offhand. Good for mind flaying raid shadow priests.

This is a poor choice for a shadow priest weapon. Yes the spell damage is high, but the crit is useless. You're better off with the weapon that drops from the first boss in the same instance, Starlight Dagger.

Not bad for a pally either, but I don't know a lot about them, as i am horde and havent seen pallies for that long

Myself, I'm an Elemental Shaman, and I would love for this..... :D

All in all, Shadow Priests, Ele Shammys, and Boomkins should get a fair roll on this.... perhaps a pally too, as I previously stated, I don't know a lot about them.

Well I've been playing a pally for about a year now (first on alliance , now on horde) so I'll fill in that gap there.

For a holy paladin, tonnes of 1 handers better than this with pure +healing. I'm sure there'd be at least one with +crit too, or enough int to compensate for the lack thereof.

For a ret paladin, there is no str, agi, and it's a 1h weapon. When dpsing, they should be using a 2h weap with str and agi in order to increase the damage done by SoC and Crusader Strike.

However, for a prot pally it is not too shabby. Someone mentioned before that as SoR does damage on each swing, a faster weapon should be taken. While it is true that SoR does damage on each swing, it does more damage with slower weapons. Over time, the damage done by two identical weapons of different speed should be just about the same. The +spell dmg will increase the amount each SoR does, and thus increase aggro. It will also increase the dmg the Judgement of Righteousness does, and the +spell crit also gives the judgement a chance to crit (I will admit, I am no expert on the mechanics of the seals - I am still unsure if the holy dmg caused by SoR can crit, though due to exp I am of the opinion that it can't). Stamina is a no brainer for a tank, and int doesn't hurt due to mana pool and more +spell crit.

Tbh, I prefer the Mana Wrath and Greatsword of Horrid Dreams for a tankadin, purely because they give extra armour, sta, int, and +spell dmg. They also are much easier to get your hands on. But there you go - the mace is not half bad for a tankadin, but healadins and retnoobs should stay away.

also, reckoning can proc when you are between swings, on the half beat, sometimes allowing that 4th swing to sneak in with a weapon that not moving at 2.0 speed or better

Ok guys seriously..... with 41 dps this is DEFINATELY not meant for tanks or dps. This is a holy pally/priest/shammy/druid(maybe) weapon. for a pally to be used with a good +stam and +int shield like pulsating or netherwing defenders.

From a non-heroic and almost identical (if not slightly better) stats, and everyone can use it. This hammer would need to be buffed.

Good for elemental shamans because of the spellcrit. And it's not bad looking + good stats :D

This is def a prot pally weapon, and I'll explain why. Seal of Vengeance+reckoning. The faster 1h's don't proc as much so SoV is useless. However reckoning doesn't lower the proc rate so slow weapon+reckoning=double proc. Double proc+SoV=win Blizzard gave pallies SoV for a reason. Also, SoR is mainly for Holy pallies, that's why you have the talent for it. Holy pallies typically use 2h when not healing and SoR does about double damage with a 2h rather than a 1h.
