Hurray for more cooking recipes, maybe they will add some more inserting ones from 300-375, any ideas of some cool cooking buffs?

I assume there's no level requirement to use this book correct?

Since you do have to have 300 cooking skill, however, you must be at least level 35 (to do the artisan cooking quest in Gadgetzan: Clamelette Surprise).

Can be sold for quite a profit. I frequently sell it for 7-8g in AH.

how do you go from being a expert with a max of 225 to the 300 skill needed for a master cook?

Alli can get cooking book skill 300-375 from Gaston in the kitchen of the inn at Honor Hold around 54,63

Between Expert and Master Cook you are an Artisan cook. You can become one by doing a quest with the cooking trainer Dirge Quickcleve in Gadgetstan, Tenaris.

Pick up the quest "Off to Gadgetstan You Go" by visiting the cooking trainer in your home city. (Org, UC, etc.)

As a member of the horde you get to Gadgetzan by traveling east in 1000 Needles to the Shimmering Flats and through the far side of the Shimmering Flats through the mountain border to Tenaris. Gadgetstan is the first little settlement you'll come to. It's contested territory. Don't forget to pick up the Horde flightpath just to the north of the city. (The Ally flightpath is just to the south of the city.)

So is this a moneymaker at all? Like, could you buy it in Outland's Thrallmar for 2 Gold and expect people to buy it for 5?

You can't reach Gaston, the vendor who sells the Master cookbook, unless you are lvl 58 or higher and can pass the Dark Portal. For lower lvls you are stuck with buying it at AH, unless you know a helpful high-lvl warlock who will summon you from Hellfire, or high-lvl friend to give you one free, or merely need it for a low lvl alt. Which certainly explain the high prices at the AH....

Just get a mage to port you to Shattrath city It is by far the simplest method to get the book before and even after lvl 58.

Once in the city walk over to the flight master and talk to him you will get the flight point and you should automaticly have the flight point to both Honor hold and the Black Portal(Alliance) or Thrallmar and the Black Portal(Horde).

Then just fly to the outpost of your choice and buy the book.

NOTE: When I first got a port to Shattrath city and I talked to the flight master around lvl 30 ish I did not have the flight point to Honor hold. When I checked back around lvl 46 I did have the flight point to Honor hold. So you might have to be somewhere in your 40's to automaticly get the flight point.

P.S. I would suggest Home Pointing in Shattrath city while you are there. It has portals to all the major citys and thus will save you alot of time.

at lvl 47 I did not have a flight path automatically I have no idea how some of you did but it wasn't that hard to get someone to run with me over to the place I needed to go to get FP's and of course I picked up a couple extra for the AH.

For the cooking quest in Tnaris, u get the Alterac Swiss from the Innkeeper in Thousand Needles (for Horde side), the eggs by killing the birds in Tanaris (you'll find them near the huge skeletons across the region) and the clam meat u get from the clams dropped by the turtles near Steamwheedle Port

I'm not sure why this Master Cookbook doesn't state "Bind on Pickup". As of current patch, I cannot see this on characters without a high enough skill, and my characters who already know it cannot see it on this NPC. So basically, it looks as if you must pick this up on the character you want to obtain it with. No selling on the AH unfortunately.

In Wrath, I didn't need a book.

I went to Naka in Zangarmarsh and couldn't buy the book but I was able to train to Master Cook.
