People put them on the AH because the name and the icon LOOK like it should be a mat for something, but apparently not all players understand the gray/white color coding for items.

gray = vendor trash

white = either a mat for crafting or a quest item - either way save and check before selling to vendor, these MIGHT be useful/valueable.

These are in our Auction house 7g-15g per essence. Is this a grey that is actuallly used for something or are people just stupid?

Who is being tricked here? These aren't cheap items to list. But they are always up on the AH on our server (Magtheridon/Horde). I've checked this page multiple times, in the hopes of finding some insight...

I'd love to meet the person who started this and is laughing as he/she wags the dog. Or could it just be a complete phenomenon that propagates it's self due to the name being somewhat close to the valuable essences of pre-bc? Start placing your votes...

People are just stupid when they put vendor trash in ah trying to sell it and then when they finally sold it they have wasted more money on ahing it instead of vendoring it atm they got it
