hehe, bought this and Drakesfire Epaulets for 50g, sold the helm for 75g and kept the Epaulets for my Shammy =D
btw, this used to b one of the best hunter helms in the game, would sell for 300+G but BC came out and the price boooombed

Not a single comment on this item? Heh, this dropped for me while doing Scholomance for fun from one of the thrash mobs at the boss 'Rattlegore' which I accidentally aggroed while pulling him. It's right now at the Auction House with the current bid being 76 gold so apparently there are still people willing to pay a decent sum for it despite TBC having launched long ago.

Dropped right before baron. As the only hunter in the group I took it. Will keep it will I get my BS Head then it'll shard nicely into 2 Chrystals hehe.

i got this drop on greymane last night while collecting blood kelp on Alcaz Island for my tier.5 gear upgrade quests. There are lots of 60-62 elites on this island, cleared the whole island with myself (30/0/21) ele shammy, and a dps warrior. It was fairly easy to do, got this epic drop and a few black and golden pearls also. Alcaz is a great place grind. Oh, btw, on greymane, this would sell for about 1000g. Im a shammy and this helm will be good in pvp for me. Seeing as how the only other person was a warrior that wears plate, he passed and let me have it. We are also in the same guild (Ascension) and are friends, so we had to drama about the roll. Usually all BOE's epic or rare, are greeded by all, unless you will equip it right away, the you need, those are our guilds standard loot rules.

Not the greatest Helm in the game but I'm a PVP hunter who just can't give up the 32 STAMINA.....

I'm a stamina freak and for that and the fact I bought this helm so cheap (200) gold it can't be beat. I added a libram +100 health to it so now its basically 42 stamina!

After reading up on it here and talking to a mate of mine, I have decided to wait until after the expansion comes out to sell it to a shaman.

it droped off of a elemental in winterspring the invaders i was lvl 57 at the time and my bro made me a darkrune helm cuz i was a warrior, he has a draenei shaman and a couple of days b4 that i gave him beaststalker gloves wich droped off of a boss in LBRS i had a run so i had a choice mount money or brother but in the end i gave it to him.

Well I bought it for myself off AH for 120g which to me is a fair price for it, hung onto it til i got a upgrade from a quest in hellfire, good helm i recommend it

Got mine off an Ice Thistle Patriarch in Winterspring. Tried to sell in Gadget AH for 400 (no sale, 8 gp list), 300 (no sale, 8 gp list) and 200 (sold).

I was hoping to get more but 200gp is nice for an item I could not use. Friends told me best use would be for Shaman otherwise I would have kept it in the Iron Forge AH.

This sweet helm dropped of a random mob in scholo. My first run! It was a Guild Run, and since I was the only hunter i wanted it badly.

Everybody passed and I got it. I am so happy.

Thx to the m8ts from Impulse PL Guild.

I will use it until i get gigantstalker/dragonstalker. The +32 stamina is just sweet. Plus some agility. Spirit is always welcome, as a bonus ;D

They have indeed buffed this. the last time i saw was like 4 months ago and the stats were: 353 armor.

Me and a friend is farming bosses in Dire Maul East. After a wipe on Pusillin and we were walking back, killing som trash mobs, Libram og Rapidity dropped, wich is worth about 300g.

2 mobs later this beaty dropped. We were using skype so it was just like AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH.

On AH now at Aszune :)

Saw this flash by my screen while in AV today, when taking out Icewing Bunker. We were on FFA loot, so I didn't really consider him a ninja, I don't think many, if any wouldn't take it, it's rightfully his, IMO. I congratulated him, then we took out the bunker. ^_^

got this thing when i tried to solo strat ud, almost died on the first pack :-( but i killed one from that pack zoned out, got hp back zoned in looted the skeletal bezerker i killed and realized my jaw had fallen off. i stared at it for about a minute. my luck is usually oddly good, but recently its been a little off.

I was in UBRS and this dropped off one of the Dragonkin. Hunter got it. Then rolled need on Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge after we downed Rend.

I hate hunters.

There were two warriors for which this was a major upgrade for.

Through some interesting events in a Dead Strat Raid I got mine and sold it for 800g and the damn AH kept 39 of it plus my deposit, but hell, can't complain about the phat cash.
