really besides the stats you get no further use from this, you dont get +spell damage.

considering what else is coming out of AQ, this is rather dodgy. +8 to healing and spell dmg? pathetic. and the stats arn't awfully stable either.

unless NR is absolutely nessesary for AQ, this isnt worth the DKP.

Unlike MC where u can pretty much get away with FR gear on Rags and a few trash pulls (geddon needs FR on the melee but otherwise meh) I've heard that the further in u go into AQ the heavier the Nature damage becomes, so u'll be looking at the tanks starting on normal gear and scaling thru to 300+ NR by the last boss.

I might like to add im basing this post on what i've heard and not from personal experience (in other words don't call me a noob, im not, i am speculating from rumor). Hope it shed some light :P

The NR obviously serves a purpose.

Not all of AQ, but a good part requires NR.

One of the bosses in AQ goes Nature-beserk.
Doing an AoE on the 15 closest people, 2400 Nature damage every 2 seconds. This face lasts 40-50 secs. If someone of these 15 dies, another char gets the AoE.

Recommendation is 300+ NR on atleast 15 people before going for him.

As to the Hunter comment on spell damage, Hunters do benefit greatly from spell damage. I know a hunter who uses a whole set and tops the damage meters in AQ, and BWL.

NR is not needed for casters in AQ because people that are affected by the nature attacks are melee and hunters. If casters get any poisons they are cleansed, and Princess Huhuran you use 15 people that are comprised of melee and hunters. Rest of the group is in full damage gear to burn her down as quickly as possible at that point.

I would pass this neck to a hunter anyday, because as a mage, I don't ever use nature resist, I like my 8 peice NW proc to much.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA... hold on.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA.. you're on C'thun and you've yet to see a fight that needs NR? Do you fall asleep right after Fankriss everytime?

Edit-- Oh YOU.. have yet to use any NR.. and you won't until you fight Viscidius. For the record.. locks can use the NR for Huhuran.. high stamina.. and if they spec that one stupid spec.. they get higher resistances.

gave to a hunter because most other caster classes, espescially healers dont need the NR nearly as much as hunters

I looted this necklace yesterday and it's gonna rock against huhuran.
I had already looted the NR bracers on Skeram so I'm a really happy druid now.
Good for NR only though.
