Improved Healing Wave is looking more and more attractive. Not only is there a new rank, but they're also reducing its mana cost by 10% in patch 1.10.

And I personally think they're going to make it Channeled eventually, like they're doing to Greater Heal. But that's just a guess.

I guess so. in all the instances from RFC to BWL ive never seen it or anything other like it beeing dropped so...

They're not making greater heal channelled, that was off some fake notes

making it use 10% less mana is a good thing.
making it a 12% drop at a boss is not good.
How hard is the boss and is it possible to farm it like in DM?
I would like the other books to, but this will make PvP and PvE easyer, since i got NS i can get more health out of it, and it will heal better so it is much better at healing other ppl to.

My guild awarded this to me today and it is amazing. I get crits for 4.5k with my ZHC. I can indeed confirm that this drops in the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (the 20-man one).

shaman are an underpowered class in pve, alliance only cry of their power because they only see them in their prime arena, pvp

you know what pisses me off, shaman is meant to be a hybrid class but all their high end gear is made for healing? why? i want some more DPS style gears and spells...btw i wish i could hit ironforge from xroads that would be sweet

Now that Shaman Talent tree is getting a change, healing wave will become more effective and this tablet will be very nice to get.

Yeah, because ONLY shaman are getting new spells too. Soon they will be able to 1 shot Ironforge from Crossroads. Just wait!

You're all idiots. Right now you have to spend a hell of a lot of talent points in areas you wouldn't even consider usually to make the shaman remotely useless in end game pve and pvp. The upcoming tweaks cant help enough and with the updated HW talents as well as this book, i might find myself hitting something other than LHW all the time

Yeah, cause, y'know, shamans were WAY underpowered before, they needed additional ranks. Also, they need to be able to one-shot Raggy. That'd make it balanced.

An upgrade to a spell is nice i guess. It's just a shame it's to a spell we hardly ever use. If this was to light healing wave it was another matter, but this is just meh.
