As of v2.0.1, you can now train the skill learned from this tome at a Mage trainer instead. The skill is trainable at level 60.

At a trainer you can't learn until lvl 62 which is correct this is due to the level "gaps" between learning all fireball spells. so that you learn one each other x level

-2.5 seconds less casting time
-Costs 30 less mana
-596-760 vs 716-890 Difference of 120-130 initial damage
-76 extra damage vs 268 extra damage.

and how much does it sell in the AH ? maybe 100? 200? 300? im thinking to sell it instead of using it... coz 46 is nice, but,well i rather cash $-$

It's about an additional 50-60 fire damage (counting dots) to a fireball.

While that might not seem much to anyone, think about when it crits. With fire, spells are critted 210% counting ignite. So your crits will be around 100-120ish more dmg (don't forget to count the dot).

Now take into account firepower. That's an additional 10% fire dmg thus making the upgrade 55-66 additional dmg on HIT and 110-132ish dmg on a crit. With +340 spell damage My fireballs now hit for 1050-1200 and crit 1750ish NOT counting ignite.

Not a bad upgrade if you ask me. Firepower ftw.

DUDE, if you really got that gear and do that much DP with your fireballs...I worship you being a new 60 mage who does 700-800 fireballs with 1200 or so crits...that dp=pwn all else!

Haven't gotten this yet, looks nice though. Right now with fireball rank 11 it does about 1150 damage, 1650-1700 crit without ignite.

I haven't set foot into MC and I have +360 damage (97 of it is +fire damage). I can't wait to get this spell, since it is technically an increase of 50 more +damage. In fact, my server, Aegwynn, opened AQ last night. Our guild has recently downed Hakkar, so I bet we can go pwn AQ20 like we tear up ZG.

i'm runin ma mage in pvp only atm, but i love frost offers control, and i crit 1500ish with +230spell dam...i was wondering what i would crit with 230SD and this book

anyone know what if anything happens to this talent if you respec? would be a mighty shame to buy this or spend tons of time getting it to lose it after respecin.... i doubt that would happen.. but im not takin the chance...

Got the book and I love it! regular hits went up with an average of about 100dmg, crits shot up as much as 400 compared to rank 11.

With moderate damage gear I had three crits on the same mob in strat, 1400 another 1400 and then 1600, scored another 1500 on another mob, that's getting damn close to my pyro.

If you have +300-400 Fire DMG Gear (Average on my server) then you add that on thats about 1200 on hits then when Crit, you will Crit for 1700-1800 (not including Ignite)680-720 More DMG with Ignite, That's about 2380-2520 DMG Over about 7-8 seconds after the Ignite is done

Someone tell me what this fireball crits for with ZHC active. Im guessing around 2100-2200 range with average +damage.

I got this Book the other day from the 1st AQ20 boss.

the only thing im wondering is...

When the Expansion comes out,
Do we still get an advantage over the mages that didnt get the book? Because mages will actually get this rank12 from the trainers once they lvl up in the 60 bracket.

I hope that what I said made sense.

sorry but at 60 you can now learn it from a trainer, i know because i just did!
sucks for all the people that actually got the tome though.

im just glad i didnt have to get my guild to start doing AQ 20

You can not get it at lvl 60 from the trainer it is lvl 62 trainable.

Nevermind... I was looking at my rank 11 fireball with "Fire Power" so it added 10% dmg. Hehe...
