If you guys kill the king first , cho'rush's will become green after the king is dead. So if you want this drop ... kill observ. then king.

Well... It looks like a baby version of the obsidian edged Blade. Still a nice weapon imo, too bad most people go for a tribute run, so you rarely get to kill cho'rush.

got this today, i prefer to offhand this over my bonescraper, being a combat sword spec rogue it suits me to use swords for the 6% chance of extra swing, decent crits on offhand arent bad either. Poison application won't be as good but in pvp i use crippling so no biggy main always applys best anyway

Didn't even know about this sword and I've done DM North 10 times at least now lol. We always do Tribute runs.

I saw this on a rogue the other day though in his offhand. Looked pretty good ( and before anyone comments about it in the offhand, just remember this: shut up )

But I have the felstriker in my offhand right now and yea, I'm not going to replace it after my run last night. I was amazed that I caught up to the mage in our group while doing Strat Live. His AoE puts him ahead by a lot in the beginning so it is a race to catch up to him. I got within 1k by the time we killed the final boss. The felstrikers proc + blade flurry + slice and dice = butt loads of crit and I didn't even have my crit gear on.

I have Dal'rend's blade in my main and it is better than this.

The drop rate is not that great, and the speed is poor, id use it for main hand imo, too slow for off.
As for hunters, ya i could c them wielding this, looks pretty cool!

I have Dal'rends set, Skullforge reaver, felstriker, lobotimizer, argent avenger and mirang's song (however that last one is spelled) and I'm going to try and get a group together to get me this blade.

Why? cause I want it. I did DM north 15 times and never knew this dropped, so I want it. I like collecting swords.

As for the comment about not using poisons, delete your rogue. I assume you mean that having a slow offhand is bad? But I'm guessing you haven't noticed the numerous amount of rogues that use slow big hitting swords in their offhand? Like CTS?

I wonder if you can list one of the main reasons why.

I would also use this sword sometimes in my offhand. I carry these weapons on me for different situations. For isntance, AQ opened for the first time this weekend and we stormed into AQ20 with 14 people. We went over the strat for the first boss. I decided, I want to make sure I do NOT pull aggro cause it is quite easy for me with Dal'rends MH and felstriker. So I equpped Dal's OH and put skullforge reaver in MH. In that case, I probably would have equipped skullforge and cho'rush if I had it.

Ok, I went out and got 2 of these. My above post tells about my fury warrior DW these... Along with the 48 other weapons i have, I would say that these are not your best bet as theyre speed is 2.40. If you want fast weapons, these are not them. If you want slow weapons, also not your best bet. However, theyre fairly easy to get and pull some good dps. If you like the look, go for them... I personally put these in my bank and I prefer to DW my Soulrenders for the exact same AP bonuses and a cooler axe combo. As soon as thottbot decides to accept my screenshot you can see how 2 of these look with fieries on them...

P.S. 1) Dal'Rends Set is much more difficult to get, most people run UBRS an average of 25 times to get both swords.
2) Appearance wise Dal'Rends looks retarded, thats just imo but most people think theyre ugly.
3) If you're looking for constanr speed, the 2 Dal'Rends swords have a 1.00 speed difference from what I remember.

Geez.. I had to buy this from an arms/prot warrior, who decided to need this, the other day.
What use does a tank have of this weapon? It's slow, it doesn't have a proc, it sucks for tanking.
But the guy was obviously a nub tub, he didn't want the elemental plate girdle of FR >.<

You have to kill Cho'Rush.. It's his blade after all.

UH, to the person who said they bought this, froma warrior who rolled need, your talking about the wrong sword, not this one. This sword is bop, and once the warrior rolled need, ur screwed, u cant unroll.

Search the database and find me a better off-hand sword, then, firemousey. I only saw one that's comparable, and I like the attack power bonus better than +str and +agi. Helps sinister strike damage, which is my bread and butter.

HUNTER WEAPON....no seriously this would be pretty decent for a hunter. i think ill get 2 for my hunter once he hits 56

this and mirah's song are probably the best offhand weapons for a sword specced rogue outside of brutality blade and some new BWL and thorium brotherhood weapons.

hold onto this if you get it, you might get a vis'kag one day and decide to respec.
