Does this drop any in Ghostlands or Eversong? like another poster said, it would be nice to get for my rogue... at this level..

I did the Skittering Dark, a mine in the NW corner of Silverpine Forest, I killed all spiders and got 3 small venom sacs. I'll do it again some other time and see if I get the same results. As a 49 hunter one shot was killing them so didn't take long to run through it.

This is the HARDEST thing to get as a drop. As a Rogue it's nice to have in order to make/have anti-venom; however, I've had more drops of large venom sacs, which for some odd reason I can't use as anti-venom. Blasted! I've stopped trying to get the drops, I'm just happy when I do get them.

Chalk this up to unfinished content that got cut half way through development. First Aid only cures lowlevel poisons, there are no higher level craftings later on, and once you've outleveled the level 20 spiders in this game, you'll never get the venom sac again unless you grind for it.

Might as well just buy restorative potions in bulk. Which makes it even harder to understand why Blizzard decided to not advance this part of first aid, as that is an even more powerful option to cure yourself of poison

Best place to farm these is to kill Greater Tarantula at Alther's Mill in Redridge Mountains.

This area seems to have a forced respawn rate, meaning by the time you have killed all the beasts in the area, more start spawning immediately. I ran around as a Lvl 60 Hunter for about 30 mins and collected about 20x Small Venom Sacs in that time.

I got quite a few green item drops as well while farming these.

Plan is to make a bunch of Anit-Venom for our Viscidus fights in AQ40. Although the tool-tip says these work on poisons up to level 25, they do work for Visc's poisons ~~and they don't have a cooldown beyond the 1sec GCD~~ though it is a 1min CD. (Edited on 2020/09/17 - Thanks to gyuuula for mentioning the CD falsity below, I was thinking of Elixir of Poison Resistance which has a 3 sec CD.)
