Other recipies have better buffs, but this heals more hp than tender wolf steak, monster omlet, or spider sausage. I think that is why it exists.

Many food items, if eaten for at least 10 sec will give a "well-fed" bonus (the wedge of cheese icon) which is often a Stamina/Spirit buff. Will Mightfish Steak's STAM buff stack with the "well-fed" buff?

This item costs 1s 60c - 2s 25c in spices to cook. Instead of cooking this it's better to use the Large Raw Mightfish to feed your pet. If you want the instant stamina buff, it's cheaper to use Cooked Glossy Mightfish. This has more healing than Cooked Glossy Mightfish but if you're going to sit down for a while and eat this you're better off with a better food buff like Tender Wolf Steak, Spider Sausage or Monster Omelet or a better healing item like conjured food, bandage or a food that heals more or is simply cheaper. The only reason you would use this over Cooked Glossy Mightfish is if you can't get any Raw Glossy Mightfish or if Large Raw Mightfish is just so much cheaper that it's worth buying Soothing Spices for this effect. This doesn't sell on the Auction House because of it's unpopularity and low impact and it vendors for 18c. The only reason I see for anyone to cook this is if they're levelling up their cooking since it's a 100% level up from 275-300.

This doesn't stack with other normal food buffs.
